Told her I wanted to have regular access to our kid. She knew that was the leverage point.

Then I told her it’s my turn to party and she can take care of the kid. Kid was dropped off that night.

Classic case of reverse psychology. Many of us should try it. Didn’t put it in writing. Just moved the goal posts as it became clear she would fight tooth and nail ANY proposal that came out of my mouth. So I pitched the opposite of what I wanted and it worked 😜

Like something I told her while I was under the impression we were still in a decent marriage or during/after the divorce?
