hello all, calling in from Canada here eh.

quick question for you all. had a meeting with lawyers yesterday and for my salary calculation there is a massive amount of addbacks to my wage because i am a business owner. like way over doubling what i actualy take home. apparently there is nothing that i can do about it its federal law that this is the case. My STBX is refusing to exit the business what so ever and has said she will remain a "silent" partner even though we all know that silent is not in her realm. My question is this, because she is still technically a business owner the same that i am should she not have to take half or at least some portion of the add backs that have all been pushed to me? This is not jsut about a difference of a few hundred $ a month, it is working out to be a difference of about 2500 month that it will end up costing me.

Is this a garbage argument that i am trying to make to the lawyers and am I just wasting time and money or is there some way to force the issue without screwing myself in the process? On a side note i have been nothing short of honorable in the whole process. made sure she had a really nice house in town and no mortgage on it, vehicle paid for, took care of all the S7, covered her fuel and cell phone. she has no bills other than internet and utilities. and now im slapped in the face with this shit.
