How or who decides where kids go to school? 50/50 custody. We will need to find a new school for kids. Same district, but different zones. She wants the to go to school near her new house, but that’s the opposite direction from my work. She is unemployed. Her argument is that her and her new boyfriend own a house (really her bf), and that is their forever home. And I am renting, so I may move. Now, she has lost two jobs and moved several times. I’ve been employed at same place for nine years and have moved once in the past two years (that was the marital home). She is filing a petition to get the judge to say the kids have to go to her chosen school zone. Anything I should know? Anyone else face this?

Edit: she owes me 4 months of back CS, does that matter?
