By leaving the house, you have given her the upper hand in the divorce . As the primary breadwinner, she will be advised to extend the divorce to maximize free housing & your $$$ support
This could also impact your chances of achieving a 50/50 custody arrangement, as you have created a custody precedent that favors her.
by providing financial support without physical presence , she may not feel the full weight of responsibility . For her to truly understand it, she would need to take on those responsibilities herself, experiencing life as if you were dead. Only then she will feel the reality & understand much your shielded her from that harsh reality outside in that bubble.
