When you go to work, there’s a compromise you must adhere to. Essentially, you are dedicating time, money and energy to performing duties that benefits a company. However, you are then compensated in the form of a paycheck which allows you to sustain your livelihood. Everybody is happy.
When you are in a relationship, you also compromise and have to dedicate time, money and energy but this time it’s to one person. However, if you don’t want any kids or to move in together, what exact compensation is worth your efforts?
This is how I feel dating in this day and age. If I’m losing resources, what am I getting back from it that’s worth at least the same or preferably more than the resources I’ve exhausted? Companionship and sex isn’t enough lol.
What do you guys think?
