Yes it does matter. You matter. What can you do to make your life better my guy? What about starting to workout, doing exercise, study, new hobbies. Find yourself by asking what do I want to do in my free time. Try new things?
You already are a good dad. Stand proud, have self respect and dignity. Be kind to yourself and find your way.
Dont date if you dont want to. Do the work on yourself first and then everything else should fall into place.
You can do this!

If you arent already, please seek some therapy and start going for walks or runs, read a book, eat some good food. Treating yourself with care and having something to do and to look forward to is necessary in my experience, even small things. Has helped me a lot personally.
