I've been married for almost 20 years. 5 years ago we separated because I couldn't deal with her anymore. I've been paying money to her biweekly for my son the whole time, plus keeping a few utilities on. She hasn't worked but that first year we were together. My son is fixing to be 18 in a couple months. I am finally stable enough that I can pay to self file for the divorce. My question(s):

Do I hurry and finally file? Do I just wait till he's 18 so there's less to deal with?
