Sorry I should have added some color. So far it's going ok, it's the mental aspect as the day gets closer. I was excited and it quickly is turning into anxiety.

You should get an attorney simply to help you understand what your entitled to and what you aren't.

Understanding will help you not get taken advantage of AND help you understand what being 'settlement orientated' means.

Minimal expectations for mediation. Inform yourself as to assets, debts, incomes so you can go in with a good faith, knowledge based approach but if she throws some stupid shit out there, give her one chance to withdraw it and if she doesn't walk. This assumes that you're not super amicable.
