I went with my brother to his appointments. He was always afraid he'd forget to ask something. I was there to help him stay on track and not forget stuff he said he wanted to ask.

I second everyone here - use your therapist for moral support. Your attorney is way to expensive for being used as a hand holding person.

You don't want anyone with you discussing your attorney. It's called attorney-client privilege and doesn't apply to them.

Stop using your attorney as a therapist. Your billable hours will be much lower.
