I have no clue if I'll be able to date. I've never had a healthy relationship. Im 40 and definitely don't want to get a woman pregnant and not sure getting laid is worth all the heartache and mind games that come along with it.

I certainly won't be looking any time in the foreseeable future, but if something happens, it happens. I might try to make some female friends with no expectations down the road.

Another problem is that I moved back to a small shitty town so my ex can be close to her family. There are only bars to meet women, and I don't like bars anymore. Dating apps are brutal for men as well unless you're really good-looking.

There are lots of walking trails here where I see beautiful women, but I feel like trying to strike up a conversation there would come off as creepy.

It's only been a little over a month since separation, but loneliness is definitely eating away at me. I don't know if that will begin to pass over time. Im actually pretty introverted, but I do like having somebody there for me.
