Did anybody on this sub wait to file their divorce until the 1st of the year for tax purposes? Are there any advantages to filing married jointly or married filing single when its the last time you are going to have to file? Didn't realize that this was going to be yet another overwhelming part of this horrible process....I do have an appointment with an accountant next week but was just curious what other people's experiences were. Thanks in advance!!
