The most voted answer is a woman who stopped talking with men because a man made a rape joke around her. She didn't get raped, she just got triggered by the joke. That's what they call "traumatized by males". That's how little it took for her to hate all men.

(That’s not to invalidate this woman’s experiences with creepy abusive men either- it’s tragic that anyone should put up with that- it’s the whole “just wanting nothing to do with them anymore” and treating men as the enemy that I have a problem with)

I've experienced SA 6x, as well as DV, and I love and appreciate men because 99.9% of them haven't harmed me in any way, but rather have helped me. Being traumatized by men doesn't have to lead you to hate them. Women traumatize people too.

My (cynical?) take is that we all have that monkey brain potential to categorise entire categories of people as a hated enemy tribe.

What's going on in that thread is they are using guilt by association to manufacture a narrative where they are justified in their hatreds. It's an attempt to maintain moral purity while engaging in something darker.

People want to hate and they want to feel good about it. Recognising that it's wrong and denying yourself that hatred requires discipline/willpower, and that's not going to happen with people that deny their own agency

Idk, but It took one woman to traumatize me as a minor to be distrustful of anyone
