Glad to see that most here recognize the issues associated with the depicted post. I want to add some clarifications in light of a few of the comments.

First, there is some evidence suggesting the average volume of the prefrontal cortex to be larger in women, and the average overall volume of the brain to be larger in men. Neither means that one is "a better human" or "more deserving" than the other. Do not jump to conclusions either, as greater volume may not just equal "better performance". And if it did, it would apply to averages, not necessarily to you and your sibling - just like they could be taller or shorter than you, regardless of sex. There are various ways to imagine a greater volume to coincide with equal or lesser performance in some or even all regards. From differences in efficiency to the specific configuration of structures that need to work together. Maybe some of that additional volume interferes with certain tasks?

The same goes for claims about intelligence. Some may have assumed the image to imply that men are less intelligent. As a result, they provide some sources to the contrary. Not because it matters in practice, but to simply correct or counter the claim, I guess, at least according to some meta analyses of certain measures in adult samples. That said, differences may depend on things like the age of participants, definition of intelligence/subdomain, and measures used. Some scholars conclude that despite differences in certain domains, there are no differences in average general intelligence. At most, we would be talking about 2-5 IQ points among adults. Again, it may depend on the specific kind of mental ability one is interested in, with differences favoring either women or men depending on the task.

The original post is problematic because it goes well beyond a mere description of differences or explanation of observed outcomes. If they merely tried to explain differences in some outcomes using differences in volumes, fine. As long as they do not use it to deny or prevent the exploration of possible biases and societal issues. But they decided to go further and alluded to some additional conclusions about men. It remains unclear whether they were referring to intelligence specifically.

As for our everyday interactions, I assume such a difference, in either direction, would be mostly irrelevant anyway. I can't think of any way in which it should consciously affect my behavior or impression of the individuals I interact with. And care should be taken not to reduce individuals to the averages of their demographic. In situations like personnel selection, where it may be considered relevant, one should just measure the IQ instead of using sex as a proxy.

Some also brought up patents and inventions throughout history. Whilst they might counter the possible insinuation that all men are cognitively incapable, they should not be used to compare sexes. I believe such a comparison to be problematic given the context that these patterns emerged in. I assume the historical distribution of duties might have something to do with it. As far as I am aware, opportunities to these achievements were not distributed equally.

Aside from not being true (or at least I don't believe that the people saying these things are capable of understanding any research that may have lead to this conclusion, even erroneously) the blatant misandry and attempt at shifting public perception towards the idea that men are lesser humans in terms of intelligence of all kinds makes me sick to my stomach, especially with all the other shit going around about how men are supposedly inferior in other ways. It really does feel like these women (the ones talking like this) want a caste of obedient zombies too beaten down to think for themselves.

I mean what exactly would this justify if it were true? The dehumanization of men? Pushing men out of education, a thing which already appears to be happening? Taking men out of government positions altogether? I mean, they're already pushing the narrative that men are far less responsible and more violent than women are.
