As a man who was a victim of multiple sexual assaults and IPV, all from women, these are the way women treat survivors. I've gotten support from men. They are just saying how they view survivors but then blaming an amorphous "men" so they don't have to face accountability for their trash behavior

Of course rape and sexual assault are terrible. So are murder and plane crashes but sometimes the only way paramedics and cops and firefighters can make it through a crime scene is with jokes.

Humor is just one of those evolutionary screens men have that every thing has to pass through.

And I'm sure if I turned all of these points around on OP, women only mocked and defended and said shit like "girls will be girls" due to the patriarchy.

I'm really curious what a matriarchy would look like...
