Sure. Because women don't need safety-equipment for work -- they don't do any of the dangerous work to start with.

That's a slight exaggeration of course, but as an example, here in Norway 94% of the people who died from accidents at work last year were men.

It's also a lot more dangerous. Here in Norway approximately 5 women (and 2 men) get killed by a partner or ex-partner per year. For comparison about 30 people per year are killed in accidents at work -- nearly all of them men.

I own most of those "women's" items. The stun gun is illegal here though. Technically it violates federal law to ban them but the ban remains on the books and uppity cops won't care about it.
