Not a redpiller and I have always been a feminist, but red pill demonstrates how necessary feminism still is. Feminism is the radical notion that women are people. That may seem obvious, but redpill just shows how many people still can't see them that way.

never was rp but i do check on this sub because it is of interest, the irc and rp are pushing me toward second wave feminism in the vain of betty friedan and simmone de bouviare.

I wouldnt call myself a feminist. I just believe in equal and fair opportunity. I use the word opportunity instead of rights because although in theory theyre the same, in application they are not.

If you dont work to achieve your goals, they should definitely not be given to you. Nor should anyone be given anything for free in case of desparity.

I definitely empathize more with women now, but often times the wrongs done unto men go overlooked, they are there and they are no less important.

Its better to call myself a humanist rather than feminist. I dont support the rights of women, i support the rights of humans.

Not strictly speaking Red Pill (former "Rules Girl" and "Pat Allen girl" here).

I tried to go into radical feminism to detox myself from the Rules/Surrendered Single/Pat Allen mentality, and also RP and PUA thinking. I did not stay with radical feminism - I read some of its material and interacted with people in it for, like, a month. I disagree with many of the radfems' take on trans issues. I also felt like I was just going from one kind of toxic groupthink to another. Radfem did not make me feel better, it just was a different flavor of toxic gunk.

The problem is, with mainstream feminism, it's very hard to get a idea of what it actually is or what its beliefs/principles are.

I call myself a feminist in the sense of believing in equality and because I would be thought of as a feminist, the way that most egalitarians tend to think of feminism.

Everyone who believes in equality is a feminist, whether they like the "label" or not. Word definitions don't accommodate opinions.

I'm the exact same, actually. I have a dim view of feminism and think its approach to a lot of social issues is wrongheaded. But spending time watching red-pillers has convinced me that feminists are by far the lesser of two evils. For all their talk about "killing all men," the only feminist spree shooter I can think of is Valerie Solanas. Misogynists, on the other hand, have Marc Lepine, George Sodini, Elliot Rodgers, etc. And yeah, I'm sure some SRSsuckser will come in here and say those guys had nothing to do with the red pill. Well, considering how similar Rodger and Sodini sounded to more than a few "anger phase" guys, it generally seems to me that feminists pose less of an immediate threat than their distaff counterparts. So why should I consider them my primary enemies?

From what I can tell most people who associate themselves with TRP are for equality, but just dislike the new generation of feminism.

Look at that guy on YouTube, redpillphilosophy. He preaches equality, he just has an extreme view of equality. (i.e if a women hits a man, they should get the shit kicked out of them).
