I was almost 26 when I got into my first relationship. By that time I had travelled to more then 14 countries, most of them solo. I don’t think that anyone can say that I had no personality.

Caveat: I'm not a medical professional. I'm speaking from my own experiences of mental health problems.

A lot of the kind of problems you may face are going to depend on how you feel about being single. If you're very happy being single, don't feel lonely (i.e. have adequate friendships etc), and have an active, healthy lifestyle you shouldn't have much in the way of adverse effects - meaning a baseline of whatever the genetic and environmental maladies have concocted for you will come your way.

If you're not happy, the biggest concern is likely to be stress. Stress does a number of weird things to the body. My experiences with my own mental health problems have shown that stress makes things worse. Sometimes those conditions stop you from getting help. This isn't something that only happens several decades down the line; stress causes breakdowns in otherwise healthy people every day.

While you can't avoid stress (and some is useful), we should all try to minimise it. Again, being single may not cause you stress (or distress). It's all down to your perspective.

That said, red pill/mgtow content is only ever going to try to convince you the worst about girlfriends. Consuming it is only going to make the insecurities you have worse. What evidence would indicate the insecurity may be untrue?

Everyone has a personality dude. This is part of the reason I think demonizing incels is toxic. People say snobby shit like "grow a personality" when the problem isn't a lack of personality, it's a failure to let down your walls enough to show people the personality you already possess. People absorb this shallow, unhelpful "advice" and think "well, fuck, I thought I had a personality but if everyone is saying I don't, I might as well just give up."

You do have a personality, it's just buried under insecurity and fear of what people will think. Try to open up more, and if you feel you don't have much to offer, try to get in touch with yourself again. Resurrect old hobbies, talk to old friends, make an effort to find out who you are.

Can't answer you completely as I haven't aged to 60 yet. I am currently 40 and loving my life single than when I was married. I have no kids and am financially independent. I am semi retired, work for fun. I do date a lot of younger women (20 to 30 year olds) though so not sure if I count as truly single.

I have lots of time to workout and travel. There are times where I wonder what my life would be if I was taken and had someone to call my own. Like during holidays. But I also have a lot of successful guy friends who are single or happily divorced. So I hang out with them during these times or my family. Being from a traditional Chinese family my parents do bug me about having kids and finding another wife....but I usually just ignore.

My advice ignore the bullshit. You only live once as far as we know and make the best out of your time here. You will die. Might as well go out swinging and living life the way you want.

I never married. The only time I really felt consequences was when I was younger and felt a little left out when many of my friends did couples things and left out their single friends. When you are young and on a tight budget, there’s also an economic efficiency to being married.

Now that I’m older and see the many unhappy marriages and divorces, I’m so happy I never married. The independence I developed over the years was also a huge help when Covid distancing protocols came around. I enjoy women, I’m seeing someone now, but in my experience, staying single became better and better with time.
