But on a second note, dating apps suck for all men. Most men get barely any matches and of the matches they get they get almost no replies.

I think you should try to meet women I'm real life. And it doesn't have to be at night. It can be during your lunch break, it can be when you go out to a book store. Hell it can even be at work if you make sure to not be obnoxious about it. Learn to talk to women in real life and that helps.

Also if you know why you are unattractive strive to fix it. This can help you build your confidence.

Delete them. If they're making you feel this way the best thing to do is to delete them

I hear what you're saying about the other options not being enough. Dating apps probably feel like the only real option. But if the only option is making you feel like you want to kill yourself then you should drop even that, for your own sake. You don't deserve to feel this way, your own mental health should come before finding a relationship, it is so much more important

Dating apps are designed this way btw. They're designed to obliterate your self-esteem and keep you chasing that high. Dating apps don't want you to actually get good results, because if you're getting a relationship from them then you'll delete them and they can no longer sell your personal data. You're being targeted man, but you can break out of it

Dating apps are absolutely disastrous for men. This is a sentiment that I truly hope is gaining ground. Some aren't that bad (hinge) but most are truly awful(like tinder) the ratio of (hetero) men to women on dating apps is huge. 30 men could be competing for thr attention of 1 woman and it is a superficial way of getting to know anyone.

There are loads of women out there who admit they would likely have swiped left on their husband if before they knew him all they saw was a dating profile of him. Knowledge of a person plays a significant role in women's attraction to a man. A man who on the surface is average at best may find himself still getting dates because his charm in person made him so memorable that she wants to spend more time with him.

I've met women that are conventionally attractive but had such little in the way of an interesting personality that I just couldn't bear going out on another date with them. Its the same with women. You need to recognize that dating is hard, and its important that you set yourself up for success by giving yourself more options for where and how you want to live. Saving money to go back to school so you can get a better paying job that lets you travel to other cities should be a priority. Learning how to tailor your resume so you can get a better job with your qualifications should be a priority. Taking the money you do have and investing it so it grows should be a priority. The amount of money you can end up spending on dates that go nowhere and on all the bells and whistles they aggressively charge you on dating apps to increase your chances can number in the thousands at the end of the year. That kind of money is what you can use to pay for language classes, cooking classes, stock&crypto currency. Invest in yourself first. Your physical, mental, and fiscal health should be your priorities especially when you're young. If I knew half of what I knew now at 31 back when I was in my early and mid 20s id probably be even better off. Its never too late though.
