Am I misunderstanding here something or are you saying that a few years ago you saw statistics published on psychology.org about women being sexually attracted to 'dogs, pigs, their brother or anything that has a dick and can sexually smooth talk to them' ??

Wouldn't you say that the fact that you are unable to retrieve these totally real 'studies' says a lot about their, ehm, relevancy?

Just remember, anyone can make a scientific-looking website/forum for like $100. There were several instances of even Red Pill/MGTOWers copy and pasting partial studies on their 'activism' sites and changing the conclusions of the actual studies. Or self-publishing reputation-ruining instruction books under a fake publisher, name, and FAKE PhD accolades (this was my slimiest find). You've. Got. To. Vet. Everything. Grifters don't give two shits about your feelings. They want your money/vote and they'll tell you whatever sob/inspirational story to get it (these are actual dark triad tricks). A lot of these so-called coaches have lots of unresolved trauma and it shows in their "lessons". The sad thing is, they transfer it to you and other people and can cause so much damage, as you're now seeing. A lot of these PUA coaches also pay women to act in their videos to "prove" it works. There are sooo many shady marketing tricks being used in this field, it's stupid. Research scams, learn and breathe the defenses, vet your people, and find a coach that actually took the time to get certified by an accredited program. Easy peasy.

There's a couple things that you said here that I don't think are illustrated in the scientific literature. First off, I don't think any studies show that women go for the men who can "smooth talk" the best or have the best "game." Usually women pick men that they find physically attractive, and then after that it's things like preferred personality traits, worldview similarities, occupation, etc. Alot of attraction seems to be subconscious too, meaning we're not 100% sure why we find something attractive.

It's sort of hard to answer this question without specific studies. TRP is fairly notorious for taking studies entirely out of context.

Personally, I've not evidenced any women sexually attracted to dogs (I may not be in the know, though). They do seem to think they're terribly cute.

Truthfully, I'd be ok not knowing, too.

From what I understand in marketing dermatology products this is much the same. Not everything "dermatologically proven" is FDA approved.

If you come across a study that seems a bit shady to you, just ask yourself: how would any ethical study ever verify these claims?
