I think the downfall of most of the manosphere characters is that they deal with extremes. They say things like "NEVER marry a woman with kids", "NEVER date any woman who is not a 8,9, or 10", "ALL women will hurt you and steal your dog", "NEVER fall in love" blah blah blah blah blah.

No part of life follows these extremes. I'm nearly 42, I've been with a lot of women, some of them hot, some of them average, and a few dogs. Some of them had kids, some of them were nice, some of them were jerks. That's just life.

I think the healthiest thing a man can take from the manosphere is to understand the signs of big red flags, to weigh them correctly and to know what YOU yourself won't tolerate and make intelligent decisions based on that.

Donovan Sharpe screwed himself living by extremes because the extremes don't work. You can't live Red Pill forever. It's a short period of time while you sort yourself out after losing your ex. It's a time of learning, of understanding where you made mistakes and how not to make those mistakes again.

Then you move onto the self-improvement phase, you get back in the gym, you start learning new skills, you work on making more money and your general happiness improves.

Then you start dating again, hopefully you learned something and you get better. But trust me, you will NEVER be happy if you keep whining about how terrible women are. Women are women, they are the way they are, deal with it. Being angry at their nature is like being angry at the sky because it's raining. Just carry an umbrella and go about your life.

He made my YouTube algorithm a couple years ago. I watched a little bit and when he started bragging about his 30 something year old girlfriend Devon I tuned him out ever since. If you have to tell people how hot your girlfriend is she’s not hot and you’re insecure about it.

Someone who does that is just not worth listening to. And anyone trying to give you unsolicited advice on how to pick up women is leading you astray. You don’t attract women by imitating someone else. Or at least you don’t attract healthy women that way.

I'm a stay at home wife with 5 homeschooled children...I don't even believe women should vote and I support default paternal custody, I had to persuade my husband into even considering the wisdom of either 2 ideas because I'm more extreme than he is, lol. I watch manosphere stuff due to having an infant son (after 4 girls) and hoping to avoid pitfalls other men recount from how their mother failed them, etc. Point is, I am no feminist. But NEVER IN LIFE would I have submitted to a man like Sharpe, never ever in life. What a joke. If you do it right, like my husband, a woman will submit without you ever having to demand her to or without you even necessarily realizing you want her to. I trusted and respected my husband so much as a man it was automatic from the time we met, even before really dating when he was directing a film and I was doing the spfx ...looking back I realize even then I just naturally trusted his leadership and desired to be his help meet in a way no one else on set was, I became his point man/personal assistant due entirely to how impressed I was with his character and skill. If you have to demand submission from a woman that means there is already a shortage of trust and respect and admiration for you, aside from her own flaws, and in that case openly pressing her to submit to your authority will just make it worse...even if she acquiesces she will do so bitterly and resentfully with a mind to eventually get some sort of revenge for the indignity. She will tell herself "I'll let him THINK I'm submitting for now ." You might do the same as a man if someone you didn't respect or trust "had the audacity" to demand your subservience and you had to comply for some reason, you would likely harbor some contempt whereas other men you admire, you might fall into that co-pilot role naturally. Nothing wrong with telling a woman up front you are seeking a help meet, not a rival who constantly competes for dominance (most wives today). That's one thing. But I just don't think I would trust a woman I had to badger and browbeat into submission once already together.
