The society that we exist in by default does not provide equity. What I am talking about is bigger than gender politics. Classism, the haves, the have nots, the exploitation and subjugation of billions for the few. That is the globalist society we now exist in. The only way to achieve true equality is to tear down our current society and rebuild from ground up in a new system. The only question is, which system of governance is most equitable for ALL people? That’s where the interesting conversations happen.

In the recent study published in American Psychologist, Zell, Krizan, and Teeter (2015) conducted a “metasynthesis” in which they pulled together 106 previous meta-analyses of psychological sex differences across three areas: Social/personality variables, cognitive measures, and well-being. They concluded that, overall, men and women are not that psychologically different, with an overall d value of 0.21.

Yes because every form of generalization of an individual based on a single characteristic, wether good or bad, is stupid. It's not that people would contest that women, on average, are better caregivers than men. That's not the problem. The problem is assuming that a single individual woman is a better caregiver (or a man a worse care giver) simply on the basis of her gender. We are all indivual human beings. When you're not recognizing someone's individuality and generalizing on the account of gender, race, etc you're being a chauvinist. Just recognize that each person is a person and each case is a case. Even if, generally speaking, women do X, Y or Z better or worse in comparison to men.

I think a lot of fathers will take issue with the idea that women are more "caregiver" than them.

It is that kind of manosphere logic that feminism actually has been speaking to for a generation. Men do themselves NO FAVORS by declaring that women are better caregivers because that sentiment is what gets judges to deny child custody to men.

For once, stand up and say you are as good as a caregiver as a woman and not just abdicate the position to women.

Everytime a man comes here and rails about how the world is bad because women get child custody, recognize that y'all did that to yourselves.

I think that equality is possible, in spite of the negativity spewed by feminists and MRAs online. Looking at the relationship between men and women in just the past hundred years, things have significantly improved. We're not going to scrape thousands of years' worth of sexism in our lifetime, though. I think people are too focused on trying to do everything at once. We've been taking things one step at a time so far, and things have gotten significantly better.

Equality will be very hard to achieve. Still, not all women agree with those definitions of sexism. I think that as long as you remain tasteful in your comments and make it clear that you believe women to be equal it'll be fine. I think you should get to know her first, ask about her beliefs and see if she likes the typical romance stuff. If not, maybe she's not for you. I do think men and women to be equal but still like being treated like I'm weaker than men because physically I am. Some women might also have a hard time admitting to it but I think you can try to examine her behavior and see if she likes it or not. Just don't criticize yourself too hard based on some random feminists argument on the internet.
