Yeah it really fucking sucks that men don't get complimented and anger is the only "allowed" emotion. Being a man can be really lonely. You could try a therapist, even if there's nothing specific you want to work on, at least you can express how you feel to someone who's literally paid to not be judgmental. There was a whole thread about the compliments thing on I think r/menslib the other day.

Tired of getting blamed for why the world messed up.

Has anyone blamed you personally for the world being messed up?

Tired of seeing articles of "the reason why men are single is because Women are more educated or men dont shower" bullshit.

If you don't want the algorithm to suggest these articles, stop clicking on them. Yahoo News has never suggested an article like this to me. When I googled why men are single, I got much more nuanced perspectives than you did.

I wouldn't mind being complimented every now and then.

Then find friends who compliment a lot. Most people compliment through actions.

It would be nice to get emotional to family members without the judgement.

Depends on the type of family you got and how good your interpersonal skills are. Otherwise find a friend to get emotional with.

What you're describing here isn't you being tired of being a man, it's that you're tired of being blamed for things that couldn't possibly be your fault.

And you're also tired by how other people try to limit your emotional expression you based on your sex.

You are tired of sexism, not of being a man.

I think that's a perfectly reasonable reaction to have to nonsense.

I feel ya. Read an article from a Christian pastor a few years ago where he laments that he always is asked by the young women "Where are the Christian men?" The church is full of boys and not men he said. He proceeded to give advice that was comme sense and lambasted the notion of playing video games with friends. (Uh...I and many others play far less video games than most 'masculine' men beat their chests around sports, the only acceptable thing apparently. Nevermind that video games are interactive). He told men to have a little ambition outside of that. I am not sure what he means. I thought we were supposed to be content? I have a good job that uses my degree, I have down time to do what I want so what else am I to do to get a woman to think I am a man? I don't get it. Many single guys, especially at church, are in a similar boat. Have good jobs, down time, etc. so the issue is...?

Maybe change what you digest (physically and metaphorically).Being a man is dope. You're one of the most physically strong humans, you can grow a beard and are really admired if you apply yourself to something. I train mma nd am in a male dominated field. Those circles help me when I feel like the world of feminists are against me
