I've been doing dating apps heavily for over a year. Met over 30 women. I took a couple months off and then the first women blew off our 3rd date which shot back all the negative experiences I have had over the last year of women doing similar things. I started reading redpill and it made sense and then my youtube algorithm blasted this stuff at me. Just a week into it I found myself angry, feeling like I cant trust women, and overall a bit defeated.

I want to pick out a few points I've learned that are in redpill and say why it makes sense, so that it can be countered. Please know that I am not argueing for redpill. I'm stating why I struggle not to agree with it, because I want my mind changed.

The evolution thing makes sense to me. Women being geared towards men who make them feel safe and have good genes. I guess that is totally understandable. A women carries the child, so safety and being more selective makes sense.

Men dont get unconditional love. Honestly I have a hard time not agreeing with that other then my own mother. I feel like society doesnt care about men. Its unattractive to be vulnerable. We are supposed to be rocks. My value feels based on what I can accomplish and provide.

I do not agree with women wanting to cheat and I do hate the alpha and beta talk.

I dont agree hypergamy is completely fair. In a committed relationship I can feel safe. Men leave women and cheat too, but women are divorcing at a higher rate and I do hear many stories of women leaving what seems like really good men. But then many men are abusive and women should leave a relationship that is not working.

My brother's ex-wife cheated, was emotionally abusive and told him that she never loved him. My brother is like the most harmless dude I know. He did so much and didnt deserve to be treated like that. She is 100% a progressive feminist. I would consider myself a moderate progressive so I end up meeting people who are more progressive then me and I do find those interactions to be harsher at times. Howver I have met conservative women who lost interest as soon as i got a bit vulnerable. I think they get sold the strong masculine leader type and vulnerability ruins that.

With online dating it does feel like women will leave you in a heartbeat for a guy that seems "higher value". Women get flooded with guys wanting to chat and meet. My experience with online dating has been that people quickly lose interest over a new shiny object. I so wonder if women egos are getting blown up by all the attention.

I did think that If I got the job and tried to be a good guy I would have more success getting a women. Turns out I dont feel like anyone really cares. But at my age (29), sort of a none issue since having a career is like low on the expectations I guess. I have hobbies, see a therapist, have a social life, have a career, come from a good family, working on myself, etc. I get told just keep working on yourself, or that there must be something wrong with me if my failure rate is so high.

Overall, I got tired of women not being straight with me. Many times I felt like women didnt care at all about how anything impacted me. Many times saying they want to meetup again and then slowing down and basically blowing me off. Giving excuses that dont feel real at all.

Women are human beings and I see it as toxic to start thinking that they are cold hearted calculated machines, which is why I think redpill is sexist

I hate that I am saying some of this. I am trying to be completely honest. Nothing that I said Im trying to prove, I just want to share where my mind is so I can get feedback on having a healthier outlook.
