Its like asking if the KKK really is that bad, cause at family bbq's theres just mostly chitchat about the food and the weather. The thing connecting this people is hate for other races even if they are not actively spewing racist hate.

The thing connecting redpillers is misogny / refusal to take responsiblity for their own life.

So yes, it is THAT bad.

Not to mention they totally missed the entire matrix plot, but whatever.

Look, the red pill is going to look like decent advice on personal development and dating. It's what happens once you are baited in. True they will also bring men's rights issues. And these stem from patriarchy. But they (redpill) distinctively blame it on the rise of feminism. Disposable nature of men to preserve females etc.

The will also give numbers and studies to justify their agenda on female sexuality, masculinity.

Once you are lets say, sympathetic to the cause. You gradually are fed something like "feminist cringe compilation " where they handpick real man hating nutjobs and then put some others in a biased or negative light out of context.

Insinuating that you and men like you are suffering and nobody cares about your experiences because feminists like them invalidate your existential angst.

If any of this is able to manipulate you through your past traumas it'll give you a fake sense of belonging or comfort. An illusion of power that yes. I'm armed to handle women and society.

This results in a cult like participation in it. It'll try to control your language, your behavior and opinions. And rest of the members will self censor and only say what the ideology agrees with.

I know very well that for a young boy with very little to no resources or advice on mainstream networks it's easier to find such answers online.

TRP will fill that gap. With bad and wrong answers yes , but answers nonetheless.

Go do red pill, and when you inadvertedly end up in a roller coaster abusive relationship with a girl where you don't even recognize yourself because "dread game" OR when you are constantly feeling bad because you think this one girl you're really into is actually fucking 3 or 4 other guys at the same time as you (despite probably just being insecurity) OR when you go approach women and get recurrently and massively rejected time and time again despite "game working wonders" OR the few times you get laid is with stupid party girls who do drugs and are just drama queens and shit like that ... Then, when all of it happens, come back here and tell me if it's really that bad or not

It really depends on how deep you go into the rabbit hole.

On the surface, you will find the guys that recommend improving yourself: get in shape, get your finances in order, develop a social circle, and enjoy life while not spending too much time and energy chasing women. These content creators are not bad and usually give good advice (for both life and dating) to guys that need some direction. There are several creators in this level that I follow and would even consider to be friendly with.

A bit deeper, you see the guys that are bitter. Many of them either recently got dumped/cheated on, and/or were never good with women, so they focus on blaming women for their problems. This is where you'll see guys say things like "there is no point in dating women because they are hypergamous by nature, so it is just a matter of time before they leave you". These guys start to border on the interesting dichotomy of wanting the love of a woman, but hating women at the same time (and that hate is the result of the bitterness of not being able to get the former). The content creators in this level are misguided, and may lead some guys the wrong direction, but are not intentionally malicious.

Further still, you find the grifters. These guys are, in my opinion, the most dangerous. They point the finger at women for creating all the problems the bitter guys have, and offer courses and books that will teach them how to solve those problems. Those courses and books just further fuel the bitterness so they keep coming back to purchase the next course. So not only are the guys that fall into this level bitter and resentful, they also end up wasting money on things that are supposed to "help" them, but end up doing the opposite. This is where you see the followers of Rollo Tomassi, Richard Cooper, Donovan Sharpe, Modern Life Dating, Rian Stone, and (last but not least) Fresh & Fit. These are the guys that ARE intentionally malicious with the idea of having other guys who are bad with women throw money into their bank accounts by fueling their rage.

The Red Pill was meant as a metaphor for "truth" or "reality", but you will find a lot of guys in that space that have a distorted and jaded view of reality.

There’s very few rational people that are there trust me, if you begin to doubt anything they say, the majority will just call you a blue pilled beta. It is very harmful, and it’s not helping men in the slightest

They constantly misrepresent studies and cherry pick studies for their own agenda…. They also come off as kinda logical but if you think about it and do actual research it’s a a lot of horse crap. Most people watching YouTube don’t do That however.

For example one YouTuber showed two female CEOs or politicians who kinda tried to enforce strict rules and restricted freedom of speech (don’t know exactly what they did, I just remember there was a popular dude making a video about it)…. Okay fair enough.

He continued saying „that’s female nature, women don’t like free speech and it’s Natural for women to restrict other peoples opinions …he followed with saying „but of course women can overcame that evil nature (probably to come off as not THAT sexist after all).

I was thinking „oh that makes sense“….then I realized „the fuck did I watch?!“

His statements don’t even make sense considering there are tons of male leaders wanting to restrict freedom of speech, he cherry picked some women and said some insane shit like that ignoring the reality that it’s obviously not a gender issue.

That oke actually made me realize how fucked up the red pill is. They sound kinda logical, they do have a point often when criticizing women, but their conclusions an made up „facts“ are insane and the double standards …oh well it’s easy to only point at one gender. (Sorry for my bad English…)

Go to any online space discussing redpill (youtube videos, subreddits, forums etc.) and try not to come across a misogynistic comment within 30 seconds. The people who follow their advice says a lot about it

Didn't you just ask for an ideological avalanche lol. I guess "Kamikaze" is a pretty fitting name. :)

But I think it's a fair question. It super depends on the content you watch, basically.

The entry-level assumptions are ok in my mind, but that's also kind of their point. I think RP used to be ok in the beginning, even a counter movement to 3rd wave feminism, but it's gotten a bit weird even for my taste.
