Trad Christian Redpill?

I am a Christian myself, and I disagree with so many views and angles that many other Christians take/believe in. For the red pill, I think it can be easy for young Christians to fall into this rabbit hole of redpillness where they are struggling to find a compatible girlfriend. Most Christian guys, no matter how pure or unpure they me be, want a pure virgin girl to eventually marry, and it’s just not as common anymore (I myself have given up on that narrative). So it can be easy for these guys to look at the world and become very frustrated with the way sex and relationships are in the world, and the red pill speaks volumes to those kinds of vulnerable minds.

I have a newly Catholic ex who swears the red pill is almost exactly what Catholicism teaches.

Having been to the Catholic church they tend to respect women a lot more than my ex does.

There's a separate subreddit for Christian redpill men. r/RPChristians

They disapprove of sex outside marriage for men as well as for women. This sub tells men they should repent if they have sex outside of marriage and also disapproves of pornography and encourages nofap. They distinguish themselves from the main redpull community. One rule of the sub is that commenters who encourage sex outside of marriage whether for men or for women get a permanent ban.

Some of them want virgin wives, some don't. Some want wives that have not had many sexual partners, some don't mind as long as she is repentant and subscribes to and upholds mainline Christian beliefs.

Their interpretation of spinning plates is that a plate can be any woman in your life who isn't family or platonic, whether or not you are having sex. So to them, it includes wives, girlfriends, first dates, second and third dates, fiancees, and more serious dating. They say you can be having sex with these women or not. They also say that women similarly spin plates too - husbands, boyfriends, flirting, dates, fiances, etc. They also are not going to be having sex with all of them. So they believe plate spinning is not a terrible thing so long as you don't see it as sexual or competitive.

They share similar views on frame, mentality, working out etc to mainstream redpill.

They believe in putting Jesus first, always.

HUGE. Red pill is essentially just repacked fundamentalism. I'm not even "ex red pill" I just relate to it because I grew up in a super traditional Catholic home and was fed a lot of the same kinds of bigotry and nonsense. Almost everything that I see in red pill is something that I saw in far right Catholic circles.

I'm curious also about how these people justify buying into TRP if they are supposed to be Christians... Isn't that hypocritical?

Mrs Midwife (on Instagram), she was on /r/marriedredpill. Now she follows Brittany Pettibone on Instagram, who is - coincidentally - married to the Austrian Identitarian Martin Sellner.

And in three steps we are from conservative Christian tradwife to Nazis. Wife with a purpose (blog and Instagram), who was on her heydays a Mormon tradwife that was supposed to be a speaker at Charlottesville, follows Pettibone, too.

Now she is Catholic because even the Mormons couldn't stomach that much racism.

I was very into Christianity for a long time, and I guess there's some ambiguity. Trad Christians can be incredibly sexist and misogynistic. As to Christian texts to support this, I see Ephesians 5 thrown around alot, which calls for wives to submit to their husbands. However, that being said, there is absolutely no Biblical support for things like dread game or psychological abuse/manipulation. Ephesians 5 goes on to say, in verse 28, "Men ought to love their wives just as their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself." The Biblical concept of marriage is quite sacred. When a man marries a woman, it is said that they become one flesh, or, one unit. Thus, they sort of lose some of their individuality, and in this unit, there's a hierarchy where the man has more authority. But as verse 28 says, there's supposed to be love.

Jesus was also quite different from what RP men preach about "true masculinity." He cried (John 11:25), he wasn't fond of arrogance (Matthew 23:12), he thought very highly of the meek and peacemakers (Matthew 5:9), and denied his disciples take up arms to free his unjust imprisonment (Matthew 26:52). Alot of these attributes would be considered beta by RP men. Also consider what the Apostle Paul, arguably the most important figure in early Christianity, said about qualities all men should display: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23)

Also, it can be difficult sometimes because TRP always shifts their beliefs. On one hand, you've got extremely prominent TRP coaches saying, "You've got to be a badass to be an alpha. Women don't want a kind beta. You need to be dangerous, take risks, be willing to take advantage of others, and display dark triad qualities." However, when I make a comment like this, I often get other RP men saying, "what a strawman. That's not what being an alpha is. Being an alpha means just doing what you want and taking control." So, yeah, it gets confusing lmao.

They believe in Christianity because it benefits them sexually. It is the ironic "government-mandated girlfriend" playing out in real life.

It kinda falls in line with conservative values, but when you think about it and read scripture you will realise that God has specifically asked us to be kind and loving to one another, and to not judge others for their actions, when redpilled christians refuse to respect "whores" they reject Christs teachings, Jesus straight up forgave a prostitute so one would expect christians to not get redpilled but it happens anyway.

As a Catholic myself i think the idea is to keep yourself pure and not to keep others(thats their business) pure at least that's how i get it, i wasnt ever asked to marry a "pure" girl, just to not do the deed before marriage

I've been a Catholic all my life, and I'm just going to tell you now that this "Red Pill" and "Blue Pill" stuff goin around is all bullshit. It's 100% against Catholic views on Love, Sex, and Marriage. We all sin, and there's a chance that you'll have sex before marriage. God knows this and he knows this well. MGTOWs are basically middle-aged incels but they call the younger demographic incels, and act like they're the ones who "the truth" and yada yada yada. Listen dude, Catholics who believe in this nonsense are the Catholics who don't go to church or leave after receiving the eucharist. To keep things simple: they need to study their catechism a little more.
