Are you joking? I’m sorry that’s harsh, but you just told us it was a boring date at best. You should be glad if he never texts you, and you should certainly never text first after a date even it was amazing.

I’m sorry, but it seems your whole basis for texting him is that he half-heartedly made a comment at the end. This is the wrong mindset. You should be asking for advice on how to firmly put him off should he text you. Listen to your intuition; the date sucked. Explore why you feel the need to people please.

A friend of mine dated a guy she met through OLD and he was this way with her. She really liked him but he was acting really distant except to ask her over for sex. She finally confronted him and said she was going to move on and he said “well, I’ll miss the sex”. She wasn’t good enough to be a girlfriend. My friend shortly after met this heartbreak met another guy online she ended up marrying and they are really great for each other. If he was really into you, you’d feel it. Move on, sister. You deserve a man who is excited about you.

Eh, I think everyone can have a bad day. Maybe you want to give him a second shot if you think that he may had one. That is entirely up to you but I wouldn't go camping on the second date.

Maybe go out to eat a thing if you think he shows promise. If not, no harm done.

Some guys can be shy enough to seems not interested during a date. Maybe he was very interested in you, but didn't knew how to show it. Maybe he's not used to date, and maybe he thought at the end "shit, I blew it up but I really like her; try something" and it can appeared a little akward for you.

But, despite that, it's not only the men's opinion that important, it's yours too. If you feel not interested, just say that you had fun but you didn't feel the spark. A simple answer can do a lot of good if it's done right, even to stop the relationship even before it started.

But if you're interested in him (or just want to have sex, I don't know, women can have fun too), you can try it. But it's on you :)

Funny how some people here expect that every date should knock your socks off. That takes time, experience and a lot of failing, like happened here. Maybe he's lacking the social skills for dates, but will be the best camper bf ever, since it's a shared interest that you both can get into.

Don't judge a book by the title.
