Dudes always think these guys just come out and say “I’m a felon” and women just jump on them. That’s almost never how it really is. Guys will lie until she’s emotionally invested and then play on her empathy and need to be “open minded” and “non judgmental”. He’s paid his debt to society right? Shouldn’t people be given the chance to change?? It’s not just her either, people in her life and online will gaslight her into being an endless fountain of forgiveness and understanding for NVM. And this is the trap.

When my ex asked if I was Christian, I should’ve ran. He was really trying to find out if I’d turn the other cheek no matter what he did, be non judgmental of his lying and cheating ways, allow him to boss me around.. etc. that question is a red fucking flag.

As someone who lives in a city with the only state prison in the state, they NEVER tell you that right away. You can usually tell the halfway homies by their brand new 90s style clothes. And their prison tats. Sometimes you don’t know until their PO shows up to check on them.
