Guys like that never change, so don't waste time trying. It just makes the guy even more lazy and dependent. If a guy is like that, run away and don't look back.

As for dating fellons or dealers, no way. That's just plain dangerous. Besides, there are jobs where they do checks on your partners background and could deny you a job because they did something illegal.

Good point. My family never knew my boyfriends were LVM because they never asked questions. Even a LVM can shut his mouth and put on a shy smile when around the parents. If he says nothing then the parents will be like "oh he's nice". What part was nice? The part where he was able to smile for an hour without throwing a tantrum? Standards for men are low low low and no one checks how they act in private.

Folks don't change unless they want to. Best to leave the dude. And find someone else. Someone who is worthy of your love. Someone who is willing to change for you. Just remember as well. What is good for the gander is good for the goose. Both need to change to what they would want that person to be like for them.
