You've heard of women being blamed and ridiculed for having daddy issues- but have you heard of men dealing with daddy issues?

Me neither.
Yet, in my opinion, I believe much more men suffer from daddy issues than do women. It's just that women are better at expressing themselves, both the goods and the bads, while men tend to take cover and hide.

Abandonment issues, commitment issues, and the inability to accept and willingly process emotions are the results of men having daddy issues.

Society teaches men to be hard, guarded and almost unresponsive to overt emotional expression. As a result a lot of men find it hard to be open with their partner about how they are truly feeling, even for the simplest of situations. They bash other men who can healthily express and show emotion, not just toward their partner, but toward their family and friends as well (calling them simps, beta cucks, whatever)

I once jokingly said to a guy (admittedly, in my pickme days) "you should be happy I'm willing to call you daddy since you're acting like his bitch". He absolutely exploded on me. I was truly taken aback, even went so far as to apologize (for apparently causing cognitive dissonance in him by exposing his abandonment issues).

That guy was the epitome of daddy issues in a NVM. While he didn't openly admit the cause of his actions (being insensitive, cold, irresponsible with no regards towards the feelings of others), he portrayed just that.

Turns out, his dad is a CEO of some company and wanted to mold a man out of him from his earliest days- by forcing him to bottle up his emotions and get to work.

So these guys with daddy issues grow up, without ever resolving their emotions/issues, and continue to project the very same shit to others they got in return for expressing their own emotions when they were young. They then proceed to call women crazy, irrational and stupid for having emotions and acting on them, without ever realizing their inability to cope with their own emotions is their handicap, not ours.
