1. Part 2: Finance, Relations and How to Protect Yourself
This post is a continuation of the series that one of our moderators, Suitable Performance, had started. It highlights important points such as women continuing to do a breadth of work in society, and not being fairly compensated for it. Since this is the case, the expectation of a man from his woman to go 50/50 with a woman is nonsense. Keep your finances separate from the men you date, and never under any circumstance, get into a serious relationship with a man who has debt from unhealthy sources. Other phenomenal advice given in this post include information on renting/buying a property, marriage, etc. I don’t want to steal her thunder, so please have a look at her well written post.

2. The 4 Horsemen of the Relationship/Divorce
I wish I read this post years ago because it would have saved me so much grief in my unsuccessful relationships. The post goes into significant detail about the four traits in a partner or relationship that is the predictor of someone that isn’t right for you. According to John Gottman, the four traits or “horsemen” of a relationship that will end in divorce are: Criticism, Contempt, Defensiveness, and Stonewalling. This post goes into detail as to what these four traits are. If your partner displays any of these traits? Sorry sis, but they’re most likely not the one for you and you’re wasting your time. Go and read the post if you have time, its short but its an interesting one.

3. Blood in the water: a custom made tactic
I was elated to read that more people use this tactic than I had initially thought. It’s a tactic I’ve used for years to weed out RP men and PUA’s. 9 out of 10 times, the men that I’ve dated that I would suspect to be players and PUA’s would fall for it hook line and sinker. This post goes into detail on how to put a drop of blood in the relationship waters to see if the man you’re vetting is a player or PUA. Bringing up something close to your real insecurity (without disclosing your real insecurity), or making up an insecurity and being vocal about it is the method to employ this tactic. For myself personally, I would always comment on my weight and the fact I could gain more muscle in my legs. Men who are trash will then comment on my ass and how I should be doing more squats. Even if they say it jokingly, I know they’re not joking. I immediately next them and use them as a lesson learned.

4. LVM and Cats: The “Low Maintenance” Myth
Cats are not low maintenance animals! In fact, no animals are low maintenance. So many scrotes like purchasing or adopting cats with the assumption that they are low maintenance and a fool proof way to get an animal companion. These men get a cat, give it low quality food, don’t play with it properly, and fail to socialize it properly as well. They also want a cat but refuse to clean after it and take care of it properly such as filling up its food and water dishes in a timely manner and taking it to the vet. All these actions and lack of them can apply to any pet, actually. Pets are an important part of most of our lives, and the way you take care of your pet is indicative of how you will treat others. My best friend has a cat named Mark and the way she treats people is reflected on how she treats her cat. She is compassionate, kind, loving, and provides the best life for Mark. Watch how people treat their pets because that is a tell of how they’ll treat you.

5. The emotional labor of being hurt
This post gives me PTSD flashbacks. I can’t count the number of times where I was pressed about a guy hurting me and crafting out lengthy text messages to explain why his actions hurt me and how he can rectify them. Honestly, men don’t care. Men know exactly what they’re doing and they have enough common sense to know their behaviour is out of line and will in fact hurt others. He knows exactly why he’s hurting you, it doesn’t make sense for you to use your emotional labor and precious time to explain to him why he hurt you. It truly baffles me that women continue to give men like this a chance where there’s plenty of other men out there that have empathy and tact (honestly few and far between these days). Stop explaining and start blocking and move onto the next.
