You more than likely already know this, but talking about it, while necessary, does cause you to relive it. So, it is actually taking energy from you.

Every time you write about this, some detail is mentioned and it makes it that much more heartbreaking. I really hope you're doing OK now. I had a similar experience with the police. They completely mishandled my case, and I raised hell. There's a full review of all the detectives going on with the police right now because I flipped out and had proof of their bullshit. A director of the police where I live was finally caught for raping girls between the ages of 7-14 over the past 30 years in the…

My little brother still slept in the same bed as my mom up until she passed away. He was 5 at the time, but still, totally coddling him. It's that type of conditioning that makes it so difficult for women in general. My mom was conditioned to believe that she needed a boy to be of value. So when she finally had one she was hellbent on keeping him happy, even at the cost of her daughter's happiness. That's why it's not just picking the right guy, but raising them correctly too.

Glad this is brought up, as I've been wondering this myself lately with the serious crack down on all things deemed inappropriate for FDS. Shouldn't half of the Flairs be taken away? The FDS humor flair, for example, gives the idea that you can leave memes. What exactly constitutes FDS Humor? There isn't a lot of clarity around a lot of the Flair, which I think leads people to think they can post something, that isn't actually deemed appropriate or worthy of FDS. Just my two cents.

Be careful of the men that go to therapy. There are men that use it like it as a manipulative tool just to make them seem more sensitive and well-rounded. Also be aware of WHY they go to therapy. Anger management? RUN. PTSD due to some type of military/police situation? Teleport the heck out of there Star Trek style, block, and delete. Also, if you're in intensive therapy, you shouldn't be dating, man or a woman. You're already in a vulnerable state, you should be improving yourself, not trying …

It's the same reason that they don't want assault victims to speak out, really anyone who's been abused. Men don't want their patterns of behavior known.

This just reminds me of how Howard Stern went on a talk show and tried to start saying 'wow, Weinstein and those guys are creeps' after having a huge public radio show where he regularly degraded women, rated them by their looks on a 1-10 scales, and often asked them to take their clothes off.

I had a baby face up until I hit 30, and then I finally started to look like I was in my late 20's. Lot of men mistook me for a younger woman. I am short and built like a gymnast. So I had all sorts of guys making up weird fantasies about me.

The guy I filed a police report against claims there was a 'misunderstanding' when he was trying to start talking to me about sex, and then started to harass me when I said I didn't want him to walk me home... He also has a girlfriend btw, apparently for the past 2 years. Any guy I've spoken to afterwards and told the story to says, no matter what, no guy brings up sex with a girl that they aren't thinking about fucking. People can you part of that serial number to look up the diamond, see how much it's worth, get your info, and potentially come after you. Honestly, just do your hobbies and you might find friends that way. Don't try too hard - stick to your principles and keep your boundaries. The more you like yourself, the more your feel less of a need to pour your heart out to people. I've calmed down a lot it seems since finding FDS and realizing I was right, the whole damn time, and just let men/society break me down. I'm in the same boat regarding friends, all my college acquaintances are nowhere to be seen, but I couldn't care less. I have …

For women in particular, this is definitely true. Living alone also helps you to keep your boundaries and recharge when you need to. There's nothing like just being able to be left alone, cook what you want, wear what you want, have the temp the way you want... Also, I did the math on how much money I spent going out vs. just eating at home (because of shitty roommates). I was actually paying the same as renting my own place and then some while living with roommates than if I had just gotten my …

A guy who doesn't wear decent underwear. I guy I dated last summer stayed at my house and slept in his undies. He genuinely had holes in them, they looked as though he'd owned them since he was a teenager. The next morning, he even threw them out in my bedroom trash can when I was out of the room. He threw out his FILTHY OLD HOLED RIDDLED UNDIES in my BEDROOM TRASH BIN. It was horrifying.

I agree with this. Yes, it seems like high standards, but everyone is a bit different. I know that I was just thinking of this, just this week, how am I actually a HVW. Just because I am on FDS? What should my principles be? This is a great starting point and comparison. As someone who got stuck going down that rabbit hole to begin with, I agree with this. You do lose sight of what has been happening and get caught in the negative cesspool of male hatred by always looking at these kinds of posts. As someone who came from a weird mixed social class. I.e. Rejection happens, but the biggest lesson is learning to not chase the guy to prove yourself afterwards. Then you're being desperate and they'll use you. Also, that's what guys do, and then they post those stupid bitter and resentful sob stories about how a girl wouldn't go out with them. Everyone has the right to say no to anyone who asks them out.

Notice that if you press men to tell you why they hate cats, they will immediately compare them to dogs. The qualities of dogs that they usually deem superior are: loyalty, obedience, and, above all, unconditional and undeserved love. Now I love dogs too, but do those answers remind you of anything? Although it is possible to just not like cats, when you ask and a man does respond in this way, it is very telling of what he actually believes in/how he views how things should be. There are also so…

Your description made me realize this is what I do. This is painful. Thank you for posting this detail. It's really helpful. Would you mind making a post on this? Have you ever gotten the comment that you smell too 'fake' or had a guy complain about you smelling too clean which then made them self-conscious? I had a guy complain I was too clean once. It was in my pick-me days of doing walking coffee dates. We met up after he got out of work later, he worked in trade. It was so dumb, he wouldn't just meet me on the weekend when he could clean up, but decided to give me grief for being presentable when he wasn't.

FDS reads my brain again. Thank you for posting this. I was wondering if it was only me. This caused a lot of anger for me. As I'm sure a lot of the Mods have seen from my past comments and posts. When you aren't acknowledged, supported, defended, or get any empathy (not pity, not sympathy) from the other women in your life that you are supposed to be able to lean on, it's maddening, and even more devastating than the abuse from the men at times. At least it was for me.

Set boundaries early on - I'm naturally a people-pleaser so I used to compromise on my boundaries a lot. I used to be terrible at saying no - be it in dating, relationships, friends, and also at work. I now keep a journal of what my boundaries are and what I want from dating / relationships. If he's asking for something that is not in line with that, I simply refuse. If he keeps pushing and pestering, I cut him off. I find that usually implementing boundaries just leads to more respect from the …

I've heard an alarming similar story, second hand, but from an ex boyfriend when he was at his friends house. He actually called the police he the minute he left the house and reported the abuse, as he was pretty sure that the dad was assaulting his 12 year old daughter. He never found out what happened to the girl, and he wasn't the best guy, but I was super proud of him for calling the cops to report the creepy guy.

I was thinking this too. It's never that you just do it to yourself. It was convenient for the husband, but now it's probably bothering him that there's a loss of identity somehow. He could have been cheering her on to have her own thing the whole time.

Sometimes I think FDS reads my mind. I was just thinking about this type of situation today. This could have been me when my ex started to talk about maybe wanting a baby, and then in the next 5 minutes, without thought, started to talk about his career trajectory. But, we'd just discussed a week before how he'd chill for a year so I could get more established in my career, buy a place together, and we could grow in unison. This woman's could have been my life.

I heard about this type of thing from my ex a few years ago. His group of friends are pretty well off, and their wives have high-fashion tastes. This guy was so cheap that he actually sent a Venmo request to everyone so that he could buy his wife a designer handbag that he didn't want to pay for on his own, not that he couldn't afford, but didn't want to pay for. Mind you, he'd already pushed a weekend getaway for her birthday as a group. My ex and this guy were life-long friends so he figured h…

This happened to me recently. Guy acted interested, then didn't, then I saw him out in the wild twice and he got weird. Then he was getting transferred and the last week or two he was hovering around me like crazy to try to talk to me, instead of just talking to me, even after I tried to start a convo with him more than once. It's amazing how easy 'men's jobs' of electrical, plumbing, etc. aren't actually that difficult. Welding in particular is best done by women because we are far more accurate and thoughtful. We pay attention to the details.

This. My mom didn't do this, and it took years in court for the judge to finally catch my 'dad' in a lie and then things fell apart from there for him. But only after my mom got dragged through the mud by the legal system. Show the police, document everything. Call an attorney and get a consultation for advice on how to handle this. Make sure to talk to more than one, you'll get a more flushed out idea of how to handle things by talking to multiple attorneys and getting various insights.

I'm mildly alarmed that your sister said he probably didn't notice. Men notice. And I bet that he swiped right intentionally. Your sister needs her head checked. It's not so much debt as it is just money lost. It's sickening, but I am posting this so that other women who are lurking and debating leaving who are younger than me, and questioning not advancing their career, going to get a second degree etc. because of a guy... I actually did this a few months ago, and the number nearly made me puke... If I'd taken the jobs, not dated long distance, not had to pay for all those trips etc... combined, I would have had well over 600k, at the least. I would hav…

Don't men have nipples because they start out as being potentially assigned as female, but then gender is determined and they don't get breasts, but the nipples stay?

I don't compliment men unless I'm actually dating them, and by dating I mean I've known them for a bit. If you compliment a guy you're trying to date, or still vetting, they'll take it as you're DTF right then.

I went to a Catholic University, we had to take a number of classes on religion. This was one point that came up in multiple lectures. I thought it was funny that the professors were like, ladies, if you want a man, get a Jewish guy for this reason.

If a guy uses that old tired comment of 'hey beautiful' or something along those lines I always say 'I know' and give them a look of surprise, like I don't know. The guys always look seriously confused and have nothing to say. One time a guy told me I looked sexy, and without skipping a beat I said. "Yea, I know. You think I put this on because I felt like being ugly today? I'm amazing" and then just kept walking. The guys jaw dropped, and he just stared and watched as I walked away. It just goe…

This has been happening to me too. I got cat called at 10 TIMES in one day this past week, all in a manner of 2 hours on a long walk to get out of the house. One guy was on a bike and kept whistling at me, which I did a pretty good job at pretending like I didn't even notice him. He was so desperate for my attention that he not only nearly got hit by a car as he rode into traffic, but also then nearly flipped over his bike, and then almost ran into a light post. All while not watching where he w…

I cut off my hair during Covid. I looked up how to cut your hair into a bob, and just went for it. It looked amazing, but nearly all of my male coworkers, including my boss, started to hit on me and tell me 'how much they liked my new haircut', i.e. fetish for women with short-hair. Ugh.

Yes, someone posted something about this back in January I think? Once I dumped my ex and cut off all contact, my mood and life changed drastically. The same for when I started to date again and dumped the NVM that I had met via OLD last summer after talking to him for nearly 2 months, I finally met him, and boy, did he change after just a week or so... I knew I needed something more in my life when I actually felt unenthusiastic knowing we'd have plans or a date that night. Once I dumped him, I…

I was just thinking, collectively they make over 300k. Depending on where they live, that's more than enough for a maid to come by multiple times a week, to have dry cleaning for all their laundry, and to have food delivered. In NYC and San Fran, there are services that find people to do all this for you. My ex has a cleaning lady come 3 times a week, but he makes all his own food, or goes out because he makes so much money that it's actually more convenient to have someone else do things for hi…

This, I've been saying this for years. It's not hard for me to get laid. Hell, even the smokin' hot rugby guy at the gym has checked out my hinnie once or twice. This just gave me a flash-back to pre-covid. I was on a 'break' from my ex and trying out dating again, I had a date, one night for each weekday. I think of this every day. There are still old posters/signage from WWII near where I live, and there's a memorial to the women who contributed to the war efforts by taking on 'male' jobs. It's amazing how all these men forgot that women were literally building the ships, planes, guns, etc. that helped us win the war and save the world from Nazis... Don't do it. All the men that use those things are men who are basically paying to find a young wife and have someone else do the vetting/work for them. I signed up for this once, years ago. Agreed, more so with the other response on how the guy's mind immediately went to 'she's scare of my big muscles'. It's true, why would be immediately go to fear as the reason she's not interested in him??? It's a bit telling.

When a guy you just met with puts the responsibility of the dog on you. The guy doesn't know you that well, yet he expects you to cater to his animal. It shows he doesn't respect you. It's a power move to make you take care of his dog. He's also basically subliminally saying that you are less than the dog, but he owns it, by making you take care of it. And/or, he's trying to automatically throw you into care-taker mode, by luring you in to take care of the dog. Dogs are both bait and status mark…

This was definitely her boyfriend. And clearly, if it's right in the center, it was someone who knew that they could take their time and had access to them for a bit. It absolutely is. There are a number of straight, white, and very attractive men that I am acquainted with that, in the past two years, have suddenly become increasingly more sensitive and 'victimized'. It's total bullshit. They really are acting like they've been wronged and left out because they're not in control. Which doesn't mean that they're being left out, it means that they're not in charge, which is sad that their idea of being 'included' is to be in charge. It's all or nothing with the…

I agree with this, having gotten into long-distance running. But, the OP is right. I could afford to take a break, and could enjoy a weekend just with my guy. However, if the guy is an adrenaline junkie, I see that as a warning sign. Anytime I meet a guy who feels the need to do these extreme things and is addicted to the thrill, means he's trying to make up for something, or he's battling some kind of inner demon. This is accurate. My best friend in college only hung out with her mom, who was hyper religious, and extremely jealous/catty of me when I started to do long distance races and got into amazing shape. She shame me for being a certain weight, but then turn around and tell me to flaunt it. Just a vile manipulative woman. Thank you for writing this. This particular thought has been on my mind a lot lately, and how things will be as life go back to 'normal'. I got rid of or lost all of the 'friends' I did have when I broke up with my ex right before Covid. They were toxic - really, they only enjoyed having me around because I was wasting my life waiting on a crappy guy, so they could look at me, give "advice", and then use me as the example of, at least I'm not like her. So, they weren't ever real friends. Because…

I've used to wear headphones a lot. I stopped wearing them recently on walks. I had no idea that I got cat-called at, honked at, etc. this much, or maybe it's just Covid. I've noticed there are a lot less women that go to the gym. I'm an avid gym rat, and won't give it up. But there are absolutely significantly fewer women than before the pandemic. I love how she articulated this. I can't tell you how many times I've gone on dates with guys who make LESS than me, and try to claim that I'm a gold digger for expecting them to have their lives together. Not even expecting them to pay for everything, just expecting them to be self-sufficient. Also, she's right 300k isn't that much these days. Where I live, I make 6 figures, and it's not much.

I dated a guy who seemed ok, until he told me he met his ex wife when she was 16 and he was 25. He said she lied about her age, but he found out that she really wasn't 18 and kept the relationship going anyways. My obvious response was, why is a 25 year old guy dating an 18 year old? When you're that young, that's a big age gap. He tried to blame her, and I wasn't having it. I walked. First - gas-lighting doesn't suit you. You're admitting that he's cringe worthy and then saying that he isn't? FDS principles make it pretty clear what a red flag is, and nearly every other statement this guy makes in relation to women is a red flag. Second - coming and promoting a guy as HVM for 'staying with his wife when she was sick'... we've all seen posts of guys who 'stayed' with their wives while they were sick. I even already have an idea of what the wall coverings/paintings will be for each room, what my library will look like, and how I want my gym to be setup. It makes no sense that a guy can have a big house just so he can impress chicks that he wants to have sex with, but a woman can't have a big home to truly enjoy it.

But then when you sit down and think through scenarios that brought you to put what you put down, you can't deny why it's there. Or maybe it's your delivery, because your written remark was rather snarky. Claiming he supports FDS principles, when he actually doesn't, at all, is bullshit. He believes in women being home-makers - indentured servants, mothers, no career, and sub-servant to their husbands as this is part of the greater... 'hierarchy'. He's stated this in many ways, in many interviews.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/05/21 10:22 PM

No, he actually hasn't. Claiming that women aren't happy because they aren't married or don't have children until it's 'too late' and claiming that a career over motherhood is ideal. He openly talks shit about women over 30, and he fraternizes with white supremacists, not to mention supports Trump. Don't be on this board if you're going to promote a man that supports women being subjected to mistreatment at the hands of authoritarian idealists.

Small hands is a big thing for me. I dated a guy last summer who was 6'2", but he and I nearly had the same size hands. It felt so awkward, like I was holding the hand of a child. Also, being fit is big for me. I am a gym rat, I can't accept anyone who doesn't get that and doesn't workout either. Just take that fact to help you make your decision. Either way, if he's starting to be nasty/mistreating you, you're already putting up with too much. He's got a problem, let him go.

Same. I adopted this mindset after living in a bad neighborhood for a few years. Now I do it because I was harassed, so I'm hyper vigilant, and also having Covid twice, I'm more aware of how close I am to people, as I still don't want to be too close to anyone.

This is why men are trying to control women, to make the irrelevant men seem relevant, because they know when they are deem unworthy. It's like how thinner guys/guys who can't get bulky gravitate towards me because I am built like a gymnast. They assume that if I have their bay-behs that my genes will balance out their chicken leg genes and they'll finally get to vicariously live out their dreams of being a sports star by having a megalith male child with me. How do I know this? Because 3 of the…

I was going to say, he talks a LOT about your looks... This boy clearly wants to bang you, and he is obviously the one with the 'split personality'. Also, this is the most manipulative text. Talk about desperate. No man writes this much dribble if he isn't desperately seeking to win/get laid/look like the 'good guy' to make you feel guilty to bend to his will. Men are so gross.

I had an Indian-American guy offer to 'take care of me' if I quite my job and moved in with him after 2 months of talking just on the phone. He said I'd only be responsible 'for the house'... I said, cool, pay me $10,000 a month and $20,000 up front if you want me to be your personal assistant and house servant. Disgustingly, he was impressed with my 'business mindset' and actually considered it. That would mean he could write up a contract and essentially get ownership of me.

It's across all cultures, and I've actually had MOC be more aggressive and cruel lately, more so than white men, because they feel it's their turn and the attention is owed to them. The guy I reported to the police was a Latin guy, and the guy before him that stole my number from the company's directory was black. Both I turned down politely, both came after me acting like I was racist for saying no, and both harassed me to no end. The black guy started to claim that I was a Karen and had done a…

My sister went through a 'hippy' phase after high-school. She moved to live with my aunt for a few months to just get out of town for a while. Three months later, she's back home, and what does she find out? FIVE of her friends that she'd sleep with regularly had HIV.... FIVE. Moving away and getting new friends saved her life. Not if they're using a VPN. But you're right in that, a lot of times, these people do have connections, which is how they get away with it. Every-time you hear a sex traffickers story, it involves some sort of officer, public official, someone in power that's helping to keep the whole thing going.

Men don't talk about what they don't think about. I completely agree with you. If a guy talks about how he thinks something is wrong, it tells me he is trying to cover something up. It's a Machiavellian tactic to say the things that are in opposition of what you truly think to appear as though you're a better person than you really are. Like Bill Clinton, for example... all for women's rights, yet hangs out with convicted rapists, cheats on his wife, gets sued for sexually assaulting women...

I needed this today because I've been single for nearly 2 years, and there's a guy that I finally have a crush on. I've gone on dates with guys that were decent looking (according to my standards) but not my ideal. But, this one guy, he is as close to my idea of perfect as I've ever seen in my 30 years of existence. A word of advice for any of the other ladies on here. Anytime you are interested in a guy, remember he's just a human. I genuinely have just started to repeat to myself in my head an…

Oh, it is. A Director of the Police Union in New England was just discovered to be a pedophile. He has been raping girls between the ages of 7-14 for the past 30 years, all while he was a police officer. The only reason he got caught and is going through a trial is because he raped his own grand-daughter, and his wife and daughter are having no fucking patience for his bullshit.

FDS truly is full of my people. Rugby body all the way... Ever heard of Dieux de Stade? If not, ladies, you're welcome... Upper body is a main focus for men, but I am all about booty, thighs, and calves. If you skip leg day, don't even look at me. Nice hands, don't have to be big, but nice hands. Also, rugby jerseys have a great fit to them. Guys just look better in a rugby jersey than any other sports wear. IDK what it is.

I just recently got back in shape, and I can tell you that I wasn't surprised at all by the attention, negative to positive, that I got at the different stages of my journey back to my normal. Growing up I was a chubby kid with a bad haircut and weird clothes, didn't wear any makeup until the end of high-school, i.e. mascara, and had terrible self-esteem because I was actually really pretty, but I come from a hyper jealous and narcissistic family. So, I was a threat. The men at the gym in partic…

He was lying, and it isn't worth it to dig. My ex had been lying to me for years, and he eventually told me, because I didn't ask, and he was trying to use it as bait to get me back. When he apologized for not being 'good' to me, I asked what he meant by that, and he started to give bits here and there, then it became a waterfall. You made the right choice, it's always worse than you think it is too. Just walk away and know you were right, about everything, and more.

This is such a great post. I've been thinking this for the past 2 years almost, after I dumped my ex. I don't have parents, and any family I do have, I am not close at all. I'm lucky in that I have zero family baggage essentially, i.e. no family to judge or cause issue with any potential SO. However, because of this, I am extremely conscious of who I am dating, and actually ask if they have a plan for their parents elder/end of life care. I am not looking to become anyone's free nurse. I really am too. The police went so far as to ask for the manager's name as well because they said that with the e-mail he's stating that he knows who the guy is without a name, which means the manager knows the guy is a problem, and as the manager is not firing him for harassing guests, the police are considering him to be compliant and essentially willing to assist or allow the harassment to continue. So if it does escalate, I can actually hold management accountable as well. Also, the police …

Woman here - my cousin had this same problem for years and finally found someone, although a bit younger than him, which I think is why it worked because she was still young and pretty, so she felt she was equal enough? He and I were best friends, and I would act as his wing man on occasion. First of all, you're not 'behind'. You've got to get it out of your head that it's a bad thing you haven't slept with 100 women. That's sabotaging you. Many women do not like guys who've slept with dozens of women. And actually many like the idea of being able to have a guy who hasn't been with a ton of other people so that they can learn together. Not at all. It means they're mutually not being clear about what they're expecting out of the relationship, and they just need to say if they want a real relationship from this or not. If he doesn't, but she does, then it's a no go. The OP didn't actually confirm if he really wants to be with her or not.
/r/seduction24/03/21 02:24 AM

You have no idea what you're talking about. Alphas don't have great sexual experience because they don't have meaningful relationships where they actually learn what women want. And how do you even define 'Alpha'? Guys who have long term relationships actually do have more sex, and are far more likely to be able to give a woman what they want because they're actually competent and capable of committing.

This is why I hate that European study where they let gender 'be free to choose' their careers and women still 'choose' more feminine jobs. It had nothing to do with the new laws saying women can do this or that. It's the conditioning from childhood and the actual mentalities around it. They expected this to just change automatically. Surprise, surprise, it doesn't work that way when you've been conditioned to believe that you're less than your whole life.

It is so typical for a man to tell a woman what a woman wants and none of it is actually true, because it seemingly works for other men. Are those men of actual value? Do you look at them and think 'that's a good guy'? The term 'bad-boy' isn't something a woman worthwhile or with any self-respect cares for, or goes for. There's a difference between a bad-boy and a brave man, someone who isn't a coward. People confuse the two far too often. Do you understand what the term 'bad-boy' means? What ex…

This may sound ridiculous, but I swear it works, as someone who also suffers from anxiety. Write down on a piece of paper.. 1) What do I have anxiety about? 2) Why do I have anxiety around that specific thing... and keep asking why after each answer. The core reason behind your anxiety isn't always what you generally think. It sounds so stupid, but it's true. I did this when I suddenly stopped being able to perform really well athletically. Now I'm back to my normal routines. But you'd be surpri…

That's not true at all. If you're rude to me, I will chew you up and spit you out. I was raised by women only. And I was also taught that a guy needed to be nice and respectful.
/r/seduction13/03/21 06:05 PM

This is terrible advice. Social media skews what men think is attractive. None of those Instagram girls look the way they do, and anyone that does is usually from plastic surgery that they probably didn't need, but got because some guy got mad that they turned them down, told the girl they were hideous and then the girl was scarred for life and decided to get surgery to make up for it. It's the same for guys, some girl says they're not fit enough so the guy starts to do roids when he looked fine…

I was watching a Tedtalk with a fairly well known relationship therapist and she said something astounding. Therapy changed decades ago to not blame the client, so nowadays therapists are trained to not put any ownership on the person so that they don't feel ashamed or attacked, even though a therapists job is to help you see where you've done wrong and how to do better. Whether it's setting boundaries after you've been abused, or respecting boundaries after being the abuser. The few times I did…

Have you ladies also heard that the current oldest generation 60+ are the ones who started the anti-old people movement back in the 60's? It was in a documentary I was watching the other day, I have to try to find it. It's now ironic because they're wondering why there's no one to take care of them, when they started the practice in the first place. They made the world that we have today where people can barely take care of themselves, let alone a family. How are the younger generations supposed…

In the US we have the 'Valor Act' for military personnel. Even if I reported abuse from an ex, they'd get away with it because they're a military vet or currently serving. They were looking to change the laws in my home state after a woman was nearly raped and murdered by her ex, after she dumped him. He stalked her and tried the rape and murder her. They'll write it off as PTSD, but then deny that the guys has PTSD for benefits, and won't make him seek counseling or anything. It's terrifying.

In my home state, you get divorced everything gets split 50/50 unless there's a pre-nup. I know an older woman who is a doctor, met her husband really young during college. She bought her gorgeous house on the beach for cheap back in the day before my hometown blew up as a place to be. She renovated the house etc. But when it came time to divorce, she had to sell HER house, and split half the proceeds with him... It went for well over one million. She had enough to build her own new house. But i…

Thank you for posting this. I was just thinking about this last night. Also, can anyone add in how they've gone about talking about Pre-nups? I am absolutely for a pre-nup regardless of how much money I do or don't have compared to the man. Mainly because it is just an extra layer of protection, and I think it says a lot about a person to see how they handle a legal transaction like a prenup as it is so personal.

Do you not have a lot of confidence and that's why you feel the need to attack someone who has solid advice? It's sad that men are so insecure that they have to cut others down.

You two nailed it. Validation and empathy. You minimize my experience, you're saying I'm worthless or wrong. Just because you can't relate, or don't understand in the moment, doesn't mean anything. And if you don't agree, don't be an ass. No one - man or woman - wants someone who's negative and nasty to them even when they just want someone to hear them out. Civility is a lost art.

I was going to write a post about a guy. But after a few weeks, I realized just how terrible of a person he was, and he didn't warrant the space my brain, any feelings, or pain. It's not even just about men either, people in general. The pick-mes will knock you down too. Just all around, this a great space for women to realize what they're actually worth.

It's also crazy to see how angry and resentful I had become from knowing I was right, but having nowhere and/no one to talk to that wasn't a pick-me or just cold-hearted. This is so true. I had a guy who was really into me, but because his bros were jealous of the fact that a woman of my 'caliber' (as he put it) was showing interest back, they talked him out of dating me. His 'bros' approval was everything, so he ended up going the other way.... He learned his lesson about his buddies after the fact, when they found girls that would put up with them and left him single and on his own.

u/king12807, listen to Phoenix. This happened to me, and a dozen other girls I knew in college. This one creepy guy started to follow me and anyone he thought was even remotely attractive. He had no shame and tried to break down the door to my girlfriends apartment, only after failing to climb through a window to her bedroom, when he knew my girlfriend was at home, drunk, after a party alone. He was trying to rape her. When I went to the police because he started to stalk me, I found out he alre…

Unfortunately, in my state the law says that you literally need to let the people who break into your home take your shit - you can't defend yourself unless they come after you under the fucked up legal view of 'duty to retreat'. Which means you have to prove that you tried to run before you defended yourself, even if it's in your own damn house. If they come after you, you can only use 'equal force' which means if a giant guy with a knife comes at you, you can't use a gun, even if you're 4'9" a…

This came up recently in the news when the owner of the Patriots didn't get charged for getting a hand job, i.e. soliciting a prostitute. But, the woman who touched his old shriveled dick was charged for prostitution. I can see where they're going with trying to decriminalize it and regulate it more. Basically. That's a very traditional mentality though, to defeat the enemy, you must become your enemy, from Sun Tzu who is considered to be one of the greatest strategists of all time. A lot of people get that wrong, though. They take it literally, and misunderstand that they just need to understand their enemy. They take it to the extreme, and literally train to be like their enemy, which is why we where we are today. The Art of War is a really great read, for life in general. It's pretty shor…

I agree with you. I just never even thought that was a thing. I didn't know people were selfish enough to do that on someone's big day. I'm a big believer that an engagement should be more personal, you shouldn't need to have an audience. I've heard of doing it on a holiday. But that's the guy being dumb as the 'rule' is if you give the wedding ring as a gift, the wife/fiancee gets to keep it if something happens. This deformed body thing really makes me mad. An ex of mine made commentary that I was a cougar and 'looked good for my age'. While, yes, I do. It shouldn't be about how high or low my tits are or if my butt is still nice and firm. First of all - he's 4 years younger than me, so I'm barely even a 'cougar'. My ex started to tell me that he thought it was more attractive when women wore 'flowing or loose fitting clothing', after I had just started to feel comfortable with my body against after gaining weight from a surgery that barred me from working out. I had stopped wearing tight clothes for a bit as I got some shitty commentary from guys, but when I started to date my BF I felt safer wearing what I wanted as he was a Special Ops guy, and all I had to do was drop that when a shit-head hit on me a…

This used to happen to me a lot. Men would actively seek me out in strange situations, or make the comment of 'how are you single?' blahblahblah xyz. I assumed other girls got this, but apparently not. That's what happens when you workout 6 days a week and take care of yourself, though. I started to wear shitty baggy clothes after one specific instance. I went out after work to get ONE drink by myself. I used to dress really cute, and with my body I was sickeningly sexy. I knew I was cute, but I…

It's jealousy and insecurity. Men will generally focus on tearing you down when they feel insecure to keep you at their level. You know you're succeeding when they start talking shit about you, and don't stop talking shit about you.

The “African Queen” vibe has always been a thing in African music videos, particularly West African (Nigeria to be exact). Really!? I noticed that Cardi B and Nikki Minaj kind of adopted this. But they're not male rappers, and Cardi B has a rough past. I-would-not-fuck-with-her. And you’d be surprised how African women are also conditioned to put up with disrespect from black men. I can only speak for South Africans, since I’m South African, but the women’s standards here are soooo low. Our da…

Same! I didn't sleep with anyone until I was 20. He only asked, and I was honest, because his dick was huge and I said ouch. My sisters were both pressured into it at a very young age. It's all relative. You do it when you're ready. Virginity is a joke and kind of disgusting to revere. It's an oppressive measure to control you. Men don't want you sleeping with other men because they know how filthy they are, and they get off to getting you to do shit you don't want to do because they know you're…

Ok - I'm white, and because this is being brought up, I feel safer saying this. Black goddesses, please comment. I used to complain about how rappers present black women in their music videos. Always as strippers, sex workers, or ghetto gang-banger type women who are just objects. I didn't understand why that was the image that women were OK with and looked up to. It absolutely happens to white women too, but white women it's more of the model, or just the stunning blonde in lingerie where the g…

The bible has been altered for centuries - it was written by old straight men, for old straight men. It's even said in some circles from scripture that has been found that Peter was jealous of Mary Magdalene for being so beloved by Jesus, and this had a huge influence on how women were perceived in the bible. Note, Mary Magdalene wasn't labeled as a prostitute until the 13th century when some guy by the name of Thomas wrote it into the 'newest addition' of the bible. In the Old Testament, Sunday…

Ok, so first, I said days, not month, and it is true. I work for an international company and work with Spaniards, Germans, etc. So, I can say, yes, they do have 30 days plus off for religious holidays, just as Germany, and Italy, and a whole slew of other countries in Europe do. Did you miss the part where I said I dated a Spaniard for 7 years?

This isn't true at all. I dated a Spaniard for 7 years, women in Spain are predominantly pick-mes. Boys wear blue, girls wear pink, type of mentality. The whole reason he started to date me was because I carried my own weight. This is a joke. Spanish women are still very much co-dependent as the country is extremely religious and has 30 plus days a year off just for religious holidays, and that's just for the country, not for your own hometown, city, or province. Girl is crazy.

It's because this guy wants Ciara. Guys talk shit about a good woman to try to take her from another guy and then act like the 'saviour' or that they're doing the woman a 'favor' by taking her when she has a 'bad rep'. Another manipulative tactic of the unworthy.

Yea, I wrote a little bit about it in a comment below. I'm trying to build up the mental stamina to get it out in writing for more clarity. It was absolutely brutal. There's a Scottish movie called 'The Sunset Song', and it was like watching my own life. Basically the man goes off to War for WWI and comes back just like my ex did. It shook me quite a bit. It was almost exactly how things happened for us, minus the baby.

Videos games are really just mind manipulation. The US Military actually sponsors/pays for Call of Duty, because they figured out that it was directly influencing young kids to sign up for the military. It was something crazy like an 80% increase in sign-ups or something. I dated a guy who was influenced in this way, and the military destroyed him. This is so true. The story actually is that they even set her up, like a police sting, to prove she was 'a sinner'. The guy tricked her into sex! Ironic how that part is left out when being taught. My college, the priest (i.e. man) told us that. And then specified, the reason Jesus wrote in the sand is because he was trying to distract the men from looking at the woman that they were forcing to stand there naked for 'sinning'.

But, your point is even better than all of them, and what I have said to others. It's the whole premise, of Jesus' in John 8:7, viz. “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” Then all of the men walked away. So all them bros can go screw.

The bible also doesn't say anything about abortion, at all... soo. Can't even argue that. How would I know? I went to a Catholic University, was taught by nuns, and nowhere in the bible, which we had to study, did it mention anything about abortion, at all, ever.

That's exactly how I interpreted it. After her explained. It makes sense if he meant a bad habit, but he didn't.

No joke, my cousin told me, a woman, who is 5 years younger than him, that he would only date younger woman because they're 'too stuck in their ways'. To which I was initially like, OK, are you talking bratty? NO, literally that they wouldn't 'change their minds' to meet his ideas i.e. he couldn't manipulate them..... We don't talk anymore.

By 'dated' does he mean escorts? And by 'working on himself' does he mean he wished he didn't spend all that money on SW? No way any woman went with that guy absolutely willingly or without some level of disgust. Also, why the fuck is this guy blaming his lack of wealth on women!?!?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
