I live in the western world and we've been hit hard with the pandemic with lockdown after lockdown and curfew after curfew. I know someone said it before that the scrotes are coming out more but this is insane. I work from home most of the time and the more I go out, the more I see the audacity of some of these men. Besides the usual catcalling, it's become men DEMANDING a date or men DEMANDING a number and they will not leave you alone until you agree! This did happen before but not with the frequency that I've noticed now.

A friend I know (she's Asian) keeps getting approached by men on the street asking what ethnicity she is. Not because of the virus, but because of fetishes! They will not leave her alone!

There is an incredible lack of common courtesy and respect for another person. Please and thank you don't exist in men's vocabularies anymore. Entitlement is on the rise. Someone I know is getting a party thrown for her by her boyfriend. HVM right? Wrong. He said "I want to throw her a party that she would really like. Something unique for her." Me, "Well, I know she likes X, X, and X. What do you think about those?" Him, "I want to make it special for her so I'll do it my way." What the???

I asked myself maybe I was living in La La Land before because I a) didn't know about FDS and b) lived a different life before 2020, but boy oh boy I know that's not the case. This does not matter what part of town or the country I am in either. I've known two people during this time to go radio silent because their SO's require a lot of their attention. Let's see what the rest of the year/next year holds because at this rate the future looks dim.
