My pregnant friend's bf was just shot by the police for being a LV libertarian stereotype. The last interaction I had with him was publicly calling him out for LVM behavior. Feels super weird.

He (21m) was trying to start a poly harem cult in the WV hills with my Pickmeisha friend (31f), who rebounded to live with him at his parents' house, in a DDLG relationship, after breaking up with her monogamous husband.

Kinda a lot to take in. She and I have been a bit out of touch due to mismatched values. But all of this? Holy shit.

He was shot when they attempted to serve him a warrant for unregistered firearms. Because he just had to be messing around with that sort of thing with an unreliably treated pregnant bipolar girlfriend around in the first place.

I won't even get into how much hubris he must have had as a young straight white guy with rich parents.

Nobody's been able to get in touch with her since it happened. I'm worried. What if going through that made her miscarry? What if there are physical complications in addition to the inevitable psychological trauma?

How could he play fast and loose with the law like that with a pregnant girlfriend?

Our shared community is working to get in touch with her and get her some local support. I really hope she's okay. Prayers and stuff appreciated.
