When a man says "I don't want a relationship" either with those words or similar or actions that point to that, I always add the "with you" in my mind. If you do that it'll save you the pain of seeing him in an actual relationship with someone he really wants 5 seconds after he's said he doesn't want a relationship. Stop making excuses and don't settle for mixed signals and lukewarm interest.

My bs ex pulled this off after 7 years and being engaged for 2 of those years. ( talking to other women and got caught at the end ) This was one of many bs excuses he used. My guess is he had someone else lined up already before he moved out. Now I’m angry again and wana toss eggs at him lol

I was married to a wonderful man for 23 years and we raised two beautiful children together. He fell sick to mental illness after a series of stress related incidents at work. Long story but he ended up in a mental hospital, had crazy manic episodes and eventually left me. When we married ‘for better or worse, in sickness and in health....’ I thought of physical ailments. I was not prepared for mental illness. Almost went crazy myself trying to deal with the fallout. 😞😔

I just want to make a statement that casual sex is okay.

The statement this woman makes is pretty damn true, but let’s not shame people for wanting sex and having sex but not getting into a relationship over it.

But guys that imply things will go further but then drop the “I’m not ready for a relationship right now” and act like at some point they’re going to be ready so just keep things the same way they’re going - that’s annoying.

Ugh this is too real. An ex of mine (who I foolishly remained friends with after he blew off our relationship because I’m a mom) recently texted me to let me know how happy he is in his brand new relationship and is hoping to move her into his house soon. Which is funny because about a month ago he was texting me super disgusting and unwanted sexual messages. I can’t imagine being such a pathetic mix of petty and desperate.
