Yes!! I remember arguing with a man that said he felt bad when solo women who were out walking would cross the street to be on the other side away from him. He took it personally.

I pointed out that a woman walking by herself often has to do this to be safe. If the man crosses to be on the same side as the woman, that immediately tells her that he probably has bad intentions.

He couldn't get past the fact that it hurt his little feelings. Nevermind the women that have to do this because we're smaller and men can be predatory. We always have to be on alert when out solo.

Yes! And this goes for breaking up with men too. If he’s ever been emotionally or verbally abusive, take Care when breaking up! This is when they can escalate to violence. If you have to, just call or even text and just block (they can manipulate you back even if you call, and they know you were trying to leave so may still escalate abuse when you’re settled back in). Please be careful. I’ve come across too many horror stories of women trying to break up with abusive men in person, who had never even laid a finger on them.
