He already had preexisting plans in Austin that were made before you let him know you were free Saturday. Playing devil’s advocate here, what if he was going to Austin to visit family? What if he was going there for work?

I obviously can’t see the rest of the conversation, but I’m not getting any other f*ckboy vibes from this conversation. The best thing you could have done was just unmatch immediately, that would have said enough.

Your message sounded jaded af and not the classy way to approach a situation. Sorry.

I'm not sure what you're getting downvoted for. There was a long gap and it takes like 10 seconds to respond to a text. I say this as someone who is working full time, single parent and handling family visiting my home right now. I still respond to coworkers, friends, family, etc.

He can't be surprised. He could've responded with something reasonable and appropriate but didn't. His loss. 🤷🏽‍♀️
