I feel this. After a pretty bad year+ (for numerous reasons, including using men to try to validate myself and fill a void in my life which ultimately led to having my confidence sunk even lower by N/LVM), I have been using this time in quarantine to focus 100% on leveling myself up. I’ve been eating better, exercising more (I picked up some home workout routines I’m quite happy with), waking up and going to bed earlier and getting enough sleep, working harder and spending more time on various projects for work, making sure to put time and energy into my friendships remotely, and (as of two weeks ago) finding this sub! I’ve been implementing all of these changes one at a time, building up to them slowly, and I definitely still have work to do, but I honestly can’t remember the last time I was this happy and really had my shit this together. It’s so crystal clear to me now that I was dating this last year for all the wrong reasons, which is how I ended up getting manipulated and used by LVM in the first place. I wish I’d found this sub sooner and didn’t have to learn all of this the hard way, but I’m so glad I still got here eventually. I can’t wait to keep building this relationship with myself!

I have such internal contentment and peace without men since the quarantine. I am definitely not going back. I don't even want to date anymore!

I see men getting hilarious frustrated looks on their faces when they remember they can't approach me. It's beautiful! Some automatically stay away which is also super cool!

I honestly no longer feel the need to associate myself with men. I’m laughing as I type this because I used to be a serial dater. Now I don’t even think of associating with men romantically.... or even platonically. I’m just like....... go away.
