There’s someone I met at a conference last year. We’ve seen each other a few times (all in group settings) because of the conference. Many of us exchanged social media after the meeting, including him.

He’s been hitting on me since then. Both in person while we were at the conference and through dm’s. He was subtle and didn’t do anything inappropriate. I wasn’t attracted to him and he didn’t seem to match well with my standards (not saying he was necessarily LV or anything; I didn’t know him well enough to determine that. If you asked me back then I would say he’s a nice person but we’re just not compatible), so I subtly rejected him as well. He seemed to get it after a few times and didn’t message me anymore. So far so good.

A few months later he started to like me on every dating app. Sometimes even sent me messages on apps where you can message anyone without having a match. His profile is shady af with low quality photos and low effort/borderline creepy bios. Of course I ignored and blocked every time but he would make a new profile every a few months and like me again. Which, i get it some guys make new profiles because they don’t get any match, and he probably didn’t make a new profile just to harass me, but still. All dating apps included, I’ve received maybe 6 or 7 like attempts from him in total. Just why? Did he not recognize me? Or did he do it on purpose? I am honestly confused.

Today he liked me again. I feel physically disgusted and literally want to vomit.
