Hello I’m so happy to have found this community- been lurking reddit front page since covid for news updates- but never really got deep into reddit- until the on the front page kept seeing and readin posts and comments that disintegrated into men sharing sob stories over dates robbing them out of a 20$ meal. So at first I just got off on how funny and pathetic these stories were and read through them giggling my ass off at men using cry face emojis and supporting each other over ‘another cruel and evil genius gold digging woman sneakily and cunningly cheating them and not paying for her meal- (Which by the way only seams to be “cruel” and “evil” the next day when they realised they were not going to be compensated with sex) its laughable that men get more upset over ~losing $20~ even though they get to spend an evening on a date with a woman they fancy) then your average 17 yo girl who has just ~ lost her virginity ~to a date rape situation (which by the way I don’t have 1 single female friend who DIDNT lose her virginity in this way) . I digress- so the acronym FDS kept coming up as the epitome and ultimate proof that woman were toxic gold diggers and I was expecting a toxic female PUA sub and I was excited..lol just to see what that would look like, but I wasn’t disappointed because I finally found 80,000 woman who think exactly how what I have come to in terms of my dating boundaries and I thought I was being a sooo controversial and uptight but the truth is a lot of my female friends are pickmeshas to some degree and I was too up till about a month ago- after 3 years no sex (ex bf abusive NPD) I finally broke the “drought” and my god what a disappointment I built it up to think he might actually like me (we had hooked up once years ago before NPD bf ) and cooked me dinner- invites me over makes really yummy home cooked meal- makes me about 5 cups of tea while we talk all night - asks so many questions about me (it must have gone to my head after isolating alone for so long) I hadn’t planned on having sex- but I did because of “scarcity” and “fear of rejection “ I honestly expected a call the next day because he had my number from a mutual GOOD friend- another reason I thought he respected me (stupid I know) . So, he never calls. And I don’t call or text him because I realised that I made it abundantly clear I liked him and I refused to chase him And then I had a total breakdown all this trauma I hadn’t felt with came up- I learned a hard hard lesson- my best friend had some great advice as I was crying to her she says” just think that sex with that guy as. The funeral of that type of sexual encounter. And then I felt like it was a celebration- I have leveled up- a know that I won’t be having sex again for as long as it takes for a man to prove to me that he loves me. And I won’t be engaging sexually with anyone ever until I know that they are in love with me and respect me and have proven it over months. And that’s my latest huge boundary and then I found YOU GUYS! And I’m im addicted to this page now! I feel so not alone and so not un reasonable. Thanks for reading! Xo
