Trust is one thing. I have to trust my partner enough to not do things that will hurt me and our relationship.

It turns out that humans have relatively poor self control when presented with temptation. Those with perceived high willpower / self control don't put themselves in situations where they will be tempted. That's the lifehack. Remove the temptation.

In this instance, I'd be on his case about why that's the best course of action. It seems like a really stupid idea to dance into the lion's den.

This whole conversation is pathetic. He's fishing for jealousy, she's pretending to be "cool" when she almost certainly isn't...any man who hangs out at their ex's house and either tries to get your explicit permission to do so or bait you into a fit of possessiveness is fucking trash.
