I thought he was "kinda weird" but I ignored it because he was SO INTO ME. He was a toxic abusive bipolar borderline narc.

yes. We are often taught not to trust our bodies, even the we are "over reacting." This insidious form of abuse and oppression teaches us to discount our own intuition. It's taken me till my late 20's to start getting this down.

Our bodies tell us the truth.

Love your bodies and stop doubting yourself.

I remember this guy sending iffy texts like he sounded conceited and arrogant.

Turns out he had a gf and thought I wouldn't find out.

I needed to feel "saved" cause I was living with abuse. So I discounted the shame and arrogantly charged sounding texts.... like they really did sound self righteous and I can't believe I feel for it. My own need to feel loved.

Love yourself before seeking relationships too.

I’d like to add they usually have a look in their eyes. It’s hard to describe but you can see something ain’t right
