Laboring for BM & getting nothing in return is so normalized in the black community. I’m honestly tired of it. I wish we would retire the “strong, black woman” trope as well because it doesn’t serve us at all.

Honestly.. Ever since I became a part of the divest movement for BW on Twitter, (I deleted the app but I still chat them on discord), as well as watching YouTube videos from Chrissie and the Pink Pill, I have just limited my interactions with black men.. The reason is just from observations.. BM just be seeing themselves as superior to BW and I dont want no part of the black community, which praises BM for almost being bare minimum..

I'm not offended by what they say and do because all black men don't belong to me . I don't walk around proclaiming "our black men" no if a black man is not personally in my life or directly related to me he is not mine to claim .

Black women stop supporting men who do not support you . Hell stop supporting anyone who doesn't support you ( regardless of race )

You are not their ride or die, their therapist, their back bone , their peace or anything the fuck else.

This is one thing that really frustrates me in the black community. I want us to collectively gain more confidence as women so we don’t accept this behavior anymore. Unfortunately, I’ve subconsciously started steering away from black men because the way they express interest towards me is so disrespectful. I no longer believe in “black love” because it just a way to convince us to be mules for these men.

My mum has a dear friend she has known my entire life (Black woman) who insists on dating only Black men. She is in her 50s and never been married. She has always wanted to, and has held high standards for herself. She has always been beautiful, elegant and educated, refusing to settle for less. My mum has tried to set her up numerous times with men of other races and she would not do it. It makes me sad to know that this wonderful woman may be missing out, d/t an alliance to a group of men who won’t value her. She has taught me much about being a HVW.

I have so much to say on this but I am debating on whether or not it will it my podcast theme. The recent protest and the number of women and *fully black children** I see out there...infuriates me. It's pure indoctrination.
