True, with one caveat :

Listen closely when HVM in your family notices or points out something he doesn’t like about the guy your dating.

Nobody hates LVM more than HVM... Sometimes they can spot them quickly and try to move their loved ones away.

And after a year on reddit I've encountered a lot of MRAs and RP men. I noticed something curious, almost all of them are subbed on a variety of relationship subs like dating over 30, r/relationships, r/dating_advice, r/dating...

They like to go to those subs and pump up nasty, worthless, abusive men and beat down women who are just asking for bottom of the barrel respect. They literally get off on abusing, manipulating and tricking women who are being abused and taken advantage of.

I totally agree. It's so sad that so many women follow pied pipers like Matthew Hussey, Steve Harvey, MindfulAttraction, etc when they clearly don't have women's interest as their priority.

I absolutely agree. I saw a video from Roaming Millenial about FDS being toxic... When FDS is a platform for women sharing advice on how to avoid toxic men. To avoid them, all methods are allowed. Most forums where both sexes dwell are like that, toxic... And most female forums are all about protecting girls and women from abusive men. Since I was a teen, I've been reading forums... I saw tons and tons of men giving such harmful advice to young girls it was incredible. Unluckily, I bought into some of it, I was so angry when I realized these men were all wrong... They wanted me to handle other men to my own detriment. They advise you to perform sexual acts you're uncomfortable with, they advise you to "give him space", to not be jealous of him looking at or texting at other women, to not be "hysterical", not ask anything financial of him, god forbid he waste any resources on you be it time, emotions, attention or money... I found love when I started acting like a spiteful, moody queen (which is who I am inside tbh) and openly started talking about MY wants and MY needs and what annoys ME and what I can't stand. I started to be incredibly rude about things I don't like. Him saying he would do anything for me is music for my ears. And then receiving and saying thank you to him is the best feeling in the world. Men don't fall in love with pushovers, they use pushovers. They chase after women who challenge them.

Men approach dating differently. They tend to cast a wide net and go with whatever they can. When men give women dating advice, they do it through this lens and it's always with the goal of getting as many matches as possible. Either they think that's how dating is supposed to work, or they're trying to improve their own odds.
