First time poster!

I (25F) met a guy (30M) in January through the apps, and straight from the go he seemed like a HVM. Respectful, has presence in the community, has always paid for dates, good communicator, attentive in the bedroom. We'd been going on dates twice a week until we agreed exclusivity on Valentines Day. Since then things havent changed, we still have a great dynamic and hadn't hit any bumps.

The only thing that was a negative was him still living with his parents. After his last relationship ended (2.5 years ago) he moved back in with them temporarily and then family health issues and housing market means that he hasn't moved out. Not a big deal as I have my own place and they never interfered. I met his parents about 2 weeks ago at the beginning of coronavirus and they seem to like me (his mother has offered food and drinks packages during the current situation).

As of last night the UK is on lockdown, and his mother has banned him from seeing me, as the message is that people from different 'households' should not mix. His father has a mild health condition, and I am in complete isolation with no family here and working from home all day.

I guess I'm trying to figure out if his acceptance of his mother's demand is justified as he is protecting his family, or whether he should have tried to argue that I am very low risk, or approached me to indicate that he would stand with me and live here until this is all over. As it is, I won't see him for 3 weeks at least, and I just feel hurt and abandoned. But I genuinely don't know if my expectations are unreasonable.
