This is such an absurd story, but this meme kind of conjures a memory for me.

I was at Chipotle and I was still a student at the time (so not as much money as I have now). Anyway, I was ordering a chicken burrito. I thought the server was fairly skimpy with the chicken portion. I asked if I could please have some more (Oliver Twist-style).

He says, “Okay, but I have to charge you extra for it.”

I thought that was ridiculous. But, for some reason, that day, I was too exhausted to argue with the Chipotle employee.

So...I just said, “Okay, never mind.” And I turned on my heels and walked out.

The employee tried to call out after me, but I ignored him, went home, and ordered a pizza.

For some reason, that minor incident made me feel good.
