new here. trying to be like you queens & step my game up.

my ex was extremely successful, handsome, smart. he has every quality you could want in a man what I never understood how LVM work their asses off for their career but seemingly are horrible boyfriends. He never took me out, was always 20 minutes late to any event we went to. If he treated his career like he treated me, he'd be homeless.

what gives? Is it because he thought I wasn't worth it (I've established he's a narc) but what else? Anyone else dealt with this before?
