Romance yourself, galavant around the world yourself, and create your own dreams. Settle down in the mountains. Do what you want to do. Never let a LVM hold you back from that, or put your plans on pause. You can do it all yourself, and much easier might I add than if you had a scrote dragging you down 🙏🏼

I heard this a lot🙄. OP, you didn't lose your "innocence". Aside from its sexist implications, what people mean is you're not easy to manipulate, a novice, or inexperienced. And that's threatening to them.

Men were more attracted to me before I started dating because I was clueless. There was an energy around me. But after being in an abusive relationship, I look the same, but I'm not gullible. Abusers of any gender prefer "innocence" because you can control and mold someone into your slave. Unfortunately, most people are abusive and want control.

I just want to tell you that there's nothing wrong with that dream. Of course we want love and romantic fulfillment. It's natural. The trouble a lot of people fall into is that they make romantic love their only dream, and/or compromise their principles, standards, and needs to attain it. Fixating on a person to the point where you'll accept any abuse or degrading treatment to keep them is not loving them more than you love yourself, it's valuing the dream more than you value yourself. It's being more desperate to manifest a fantasy than you are self-respecting enough to accept the truth.

Don't give up on your dream. It's still possible. You just have to be disciplined and ruthless enough to find the right person, and self-loving enough to accept that you might not.

Don't be too hard on yourself, just remember that all those beautiful hopes you had for the relationship came from you to begin with. You can have all those things for yourself.
