Says my uncle. Despite the fact that I, a female still have the last name and my child’s name is hyphenated. My father has passed and has 3 children, one changed her last name(by adoption), me, who still has the last name and has given my child a hyphenated name, a son who apparently doesn’t count because he mostly goes by his moms name. So apparently the rest doesn’t matter because the boy isn’t continuing with the name. Uhhhhhhh
