I’ve never understood anyone squatting as a decided pose. It’s very common in porn for women. It always just makes me think of taking a shit when you’re camping. Not sexy.

Honestly if they can’t make me cum after two or three times I know they aren’t going to be able to later. I’m one of the lucky types that cums easily, so it’s a very bad sign when they can’t get me there.

I do this too. I’ve given nicknames to every man I’ve ever dated. It started as a means of helping my friends differentiate between them but it also helps me stay a bit more detached.

I wouldn’t date that kind of person. It would make me feel like my comfort and pleasure isn’t important to them.

“Make his pockets hurt” is a shitty thing to say. Also, they’re at Forever 21 which is honestly pretty funny when combined with the title. The only thing Forever 21 is hurting is the slave laborers making their garbage wares.

Ew why do they do that? Cuddling comes after intimacy not before. If all we wanted was a warm body we’d just enjoy our pets for cuddles. The more I see of this kind of thing the more it feels like these guys are just mimicking human behavior. It’s weird af.

I’ve spent a lot of time on Twitch since lockdown started. I don’t play or enjoy video games and would never date someone who does, but I seek out the small minority of streams which are focused on chatting or media share to help alleviate the isolation. It’s pretty fun. However, being that it’s on a gaming platform, there’s regular conversation about the culture there, which includes a huge amount of E-girls who stream and game to attract boys to their onlyfans. I would never in a million years…

The funny part is that most of the time when someone makes a claim about someone’s character based on their zodiac, they’re making it solely based on the persons sun sign. Anyone who knows even the basics of astrology would understand that you need the whole damn chart. It just proves they don’t know shit lol

I think it depends on each individuals ideal relationship, and what they want from it. A lot of women want security and a family. I imagine it would be hard to have that without living with your partner. Personally, I want romance and excitement in a partner. Living with them would ruin that for me. I don’t think there’s a single “right” answer to your question.

I like the idea of a long term relationship, but only if it involves continuous passion. Most of what marriage entails- cohabitation, shared finances, legal obligation, family blending, etc- is the stuff that destroys romance.

I think that deep down, people who lack physical appeal have conditioned themselves to believe that they’re somehow smarter or better than the rest of us, and attaching themselves to alternative lifestyles is a result. It’s the only thing they have to try and feel superior.

Men don’t want anything complicated. They don’t know what to do with an image that requires nuance. Model types like Adriana often veer into the more interesting/unique/alien category of beautiful. I believe that if there’s any sort of sophistication involved with the visual assessment, just like with simple colour differentiations, men will default to something simpler that they understand.

The only people who love Portland are the people who fit one of the five pre-cut personalities that are offered here. Are you white, pudgy, and want to be around other 30-somethings who still spend all their time skating, playing video games and drinking cheap whiskey? You might enjoy it if so. If you’re an adult with any expectation of actual metropolitan life who wants to be around other adults? I don’t recommend it. Yes. The letter is corespondent to volume in relation to band (in inches around: 32, 34, etc). A is 1”, B is 2”, C is 3” of swell, meaning measurement around the fullest part of the breast. So if your rib cage measures 34 inches around and the measurement around the fullest point of your breasts is 36”, you’d be a 34B. If your ribcage is 32” and bust is 36”, you’re a 32D.

I’ve gone through this, with a famous ex. It’s very annoying for a while, not being able to get away from it. And then it gets funny because they become a joke. Wait it out. If a 40 yo man looks good, then I would argue that this same man looked even better 10 years prior. Or at least had the ability to look better10 years prior. Yes, totally. No one ever brings this up when they try to say men age better than women, but the reality is that good looking older men were also exceptionally good looking younger men.

It sounds like you have some more internal work to do, to deprogram. I would say do some reading on this subject to understand why you don’t feel your value, and get therapy if you can. You’re essentially asking why you don’t feel high value, but we can’t answer that for you sis. You gotta dig deep inside to understand that root. Once you do, you’ll be able to learn strategies to dig it out. THEN you’ll approach dating very differently.

This. Since discovering FDS I became very aware of how low effort the few friends I had were. I also started to recognize that, when I stepped back and really looked at things, I didn’t even actually like some of the people in my life. I broke up with my “best friend” after she was super wishy-washy when I had my heart broken last summer. I adore Valentine’s Day. I think a day to celebrate love in all its forms- friendship, romance, familial, etc- is wonderful. I think it’s more genuine and simple than all the other holidays combined, all of which I abstain from celebrating personally, because they don’t have any meaning for me. The man who loves me the way I want to be loved will celebrate Valentines Day with me because it makes ME happy, regardless of what he thinks it means to anyone else.

I think we need to undo the damage that was done via years of hearing “2000 calories a day is average”. Yes, average! Meaning that this number comes from a combination of body types/ages/lifestyles. It seems like most people believe that 2000 calories a day is some kind of general baseline.

I’m not huge on celebrity culture, but there’s a couple things about two of these women which are being consistently passed off as truth, and I’ll leave them here for discussion: Natalie Portman started dating her now husband while he was living with his then girlfriend, who was also a dancer who worked on Black Swan. Apparently she was ok with taking credit for some of the dancing scenes that girl did, also. Jada Smith allows Will Smith to fuck other women. What are the FDS thoughts on these wo…

Not the truth of the post, I feel that. I mean the “stop embarrassing” yourself part. It just felt mean towards ladies that are still learning. But I get the need for hard truths. Sorry if my tone is off, I just worked a 12 hour shift after 3 hours sleep 😅

While I support the sentiment of encouraging each other to level up, this post feels like it’s shaming in tone.

Older Gen X are stuck in a lot of the same patterns as Boomers. Younger Gen X are more like extra-DGAF millennials without the participation trophies.

This is accurate. It’s also why parents with huge bags under their eyes and empty wallets encourage you to rethink not having kids.

I’m in agreement with you ladies. I think part of being hv is not engaging with those behaviors and instead we should focus on our own and each other’s growth, and in recognizing when men get it right. There is a great deal of value in education of what to watch out for, but I think our language and tone needs to step up.

This point is extremely relevant. I’m never attracted to the ones that most other women are attracted to. I get butterflies over some pretty offbeat characteristics. You can’t help what gets your engine goin.

I would think other forms of financial commitment like owning property together could suffice, no?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/20 12:23 AM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/20 03:15 AM

I don’t think so. HVM does not necessarily = any one thing except for being high effort, in my understanding. Is he continuously doing things to level himself up? But also, Is his perceived level of intelligence something that really matters to you, for real? If it does, than you’re settling for less than what you want, and that’s not a good idea.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/20 01:54 AM
14

Exactly. A minimalist puts a great deal of thought into everything they buy or keep because it isn’t just about “not having stuff”. It’s about mindful cultivation of only having things that make sense, that work for you, that make you really happy. No one is going to convince me that ANYONE would pick that chair and that mess of wires as a thoughtful cultivation 🙄

I would suggest that you put dating on hold until after you sort through it. ❤️ otherwise you’re just inviting more potential damage to wade through. If you’re not ready to see a therapist, start with some books! One that I read a couple years ago that helped me understand myself and my own huge Daddy issues was “Women who love too much” by Robin Norwood. It’s a bit outdated in its tone, but the info itself was invaluable for me. And keep reading here. The more time I spend here the clearer my u…

I’m a “big word” person too. I just shrug when people comment on it. I don’t need the people around me to have a vocabulary like that, as long as they can still find ways to express themselves adequately. I have encountered many men who were clearly threatened by it though. 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/20 01:25 AM

Where did that info come from? I was curious so I looked it up and everything I’ve found says that she was 18 when they met and 19 when they started dating.

Mine didn’t teach me anything at all about men. Nothing. She was a scared Pickme who luckily married my Dad who was good to her and took care of her until she passed away, but once I was grown and on my own she would occasionally talk about how she wasn’t terribly happy and sometimes wondered what her life would have looked like if she’d made other choices. This is what I think all married people/parents feel deep down that they never talk about.

I’m very much looking forward to leaving in the next couple years. I’ve lived here for a decade and while I knew within a year or so that it wasn’t for me (way, WAY too small), I figured it would do for a while because I really love my job. But it’s absolutely insufferable here. I never go out unless I have to because I cannot stand being chatted up by these weird ass OldBoys. I’m in a work path that will keep me here for a bit longer but then I’m ditching for NYC.

I went through the same thing. I spent my 20’s and first half of my 30’s in a miserable marriage with a kid. We finally split up and I spent several years establishing myself. It was worth every step up. ❤️👑 the time will pass either way sis, spend it getting yourself where you wanna be and remember that you could be spending it stuck in the same unhappy relationship instead. You’re on your way! :)

I honestly don’t know why any of us bother with a single thing that people do on Reddit, outside of this group specifically. They’re all trash. Clearly! At this point if I met a man and found out he so much as has a Reddit account I’d block them. I honestly wish we could move this group elsewhere.

I’m in the same boat, plus a decade (I’m 41). I’ve been struggling with the realization that it’s unlikely, even though I’ve been hoping for it my whole life. I’m still trying to get truly comfortable with it. I spend a fair amount of energy focusing on the positives (i.e. or being made miserable or bored by a man I don’t really want) and trying to find other things to make myself happy. It is a kind of grieving though. It’s a loss of a dream that needs processing. I hope others have some good a…

I have no opinion or thoughts on someone you go to school with, but would avoid dating someone you work with like the plague, at least if they work anywhere connected to you. Maybe if they’re in a completely different department or branch. Just remember what kind of petty shit men do when they don’t get what they want from a woman and then imagine that happening at work. 😬

I refuse to subject myself to any form of birth control except condoms and spermicide as backup. Fuck all of that. I’m not filling my body with foreign objects or hormones when I’m not even the one carrying the loaded gun. They can wear (and buy) the condoms if they want to spend time with me. End of story.

I don’t want their mouth on me unless I’m really into them, and at that point, they’d have already proven themselves to be super enthusiastic about me and therefore that act. I’m also not interested in giving it back unless I feel the same. But honestly male value, even sexually, is super overrated.

This. Exactly. If he was so important to her, and if they’d been together long enough, her family would be aware of his massive and very important plans. Wouldn’t the girl be coming with him as his date? There’s no way for any of us to know what the specifics of their relationship dynamic is, but it’s heartless to assume that he’s a LVM because he’s torn. A HVM would also have his own life and close meaningful friendships. A lot of the responses here are just unreasonable.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/01/20 01:16 AM

Disagree. He probably did temporarily forget it while dealing with the intense emotional shock of sudden death. I think the “remembering” was his just realizing that the dates were the same.

I would guess that some of it is also based on their ingrained hatred of anything “girly”. A group of women implies to men that it will involve manicures, baby pictures, chick flicks and food that requires utensils. Deep down, the idea that another male might mistake them for participating in any of that shit terrifies them.

Yeah that’s only a small piece of that genre though. Don’t dismiss the whole of it, there’s some really amazing stuff! ❤️ Janelle Monáe is a goddess: https://youtu.be/mTjQq5rMlEY

I wouldn’t date someone who had a problem with my not driving. I gave up owning a personal vehicle like 15 years ago because it’s a completely unnecessary and an environmentally damaging thing to own. I take transit or Lyfts occasionally if I need one. Most people don’t NEED a car.

I applaud this, I think it’s the right call. We’re better than that, frankly. I’m finding that I’m carrying myself differently after joining this group. I stand taller, I remind myself to conduct myself with class so I can attract what I really want out of life. That kind of language really vibes of immaturity and pettiness. Upward! 🥰

Block. He obviously hangs around with the wrong men’s groups.

Just block and go. It won’t help anything to tell him, he’ll just lash out at the next woman because his ego will be bruised.

I’m curious what the opinions are on Dominatrix’s. Men pay them to be given a variety of classic BDSM services that all revolve around worshipping her. There’s no sex involved. Mostly it’s about hurting or humiliating the paying male involved. But it’s 100% BDSM. Thoughts?

I’d wager that this would make Keanu happy, were he ever to be told about it. Who would want to be idolized by such losers?

Yep. I don’t need someone to buy me dinner, I can afford my own fancy meals 🤷🏼‍♀️ but intelligent women understand how men work and we use their own core functions to filter out who isn’t really interested in us as people.

Yep. I went from a husband who wouldn’t let me buy new boots in the fall but was more than happy to put money up his nose. Fuck that noise, I will never blend my money with someone else again. The man I see now pays to fly him and/or me cross country multiple times a year just to see each other, in addition to regular rose deliveries, spending cash and other gifts. Wait for the ones who are worth it.

I’m not, but I’m comfortable in my income bracket without help. Is the benefit of marriage purely to make it difficult for them to leave without financial hardship?

NEVER: Musicians of any sort- this is what I have the most experience with, everything from your local kid with a guitar all the way up to internationally famous ones. I’ve been living as a non-monogamous girlfriend of one of the latter types for the last decade (it’s why I’m here, but that’s another story) and as a result, men of all walks of life constantly think I’m “one of the boys” and they talk to me like I’m one of them. They’re all fucking disgusting dogs. Seriously, avoid I don’t have a…

I’m new around here, but it seems that one of the things that’s sets this apart from them is that they’re the ones who are wringing their hands over this, totally focused on what women here are doing, while we’re seeking a life that erases their perception of their own false importance completely.
