I used to work at a hospital in NYC for one summer and the receptionist at this particular floor was dating ASAP Rocky at the time. This is probably a a few months to a year before he got signed, he had Purple Swag out and Peso. Anyways, it was clear to her he was going to get signed and he was looking at some contracts. I remember his lovely girlfriend was making a list of things she would do once the pieces all fell into place, she had plans to get work done, chemical peel etc. I really didn’t think it would happen but low and behold, a year later I’m no longer working there and watching the Grammys and he’s there... with Iggy Azalea.
The cherry on top is that the ex was a beautiful dark skinned woman. She was supporting his crusty broke non contributing ass when he had nothing and then of course, as the story goes, he “left her ass for a white girl” once he was successful.
